Weekly Overview
02.25-03.03.2026
Mercury goes retrograde on the 25th and it will stay that way until March 20th, extending its time in Pisces significantly. Mercury retrograde is always a time where you want to communicate with greater care, be cautious when making plans, and triple check any contracts you need to sign.
On the 27th of February, Mars and Uranus clash, creating opportunity for unexpected developments. Unfortunately, these are likely to be agitating and challenging to navigate. This leads us into the March 3rd Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, which will inevitably spark profound emotions and invite you to check in with your mental health. Tune into the bonus episode of my weekly podcast, Ghost of a Podcast, to learn about the astrology of the month ahead. You can access it either on my Patreon or wherever you listen to podcasts. And to listen to this week's astrology forecast, tune into episode 604 of Ghost of a Podcast below or wherever podcasts are heard. You can read the transcript for it right here.
The frustration that you're likely feeling this week is related to having a sense of what you want but not of how you can make it happen. We are in eclipse season and it is an astrological phenomenon that triggers your emotions to get more intense. This makes your coping mechanisms all the more important. Regardless of how strong your reactions are, strive to act in ways that reflect the truth of who you are instead of the heat of the moment, Aries.
The anxiety that you're likely feeling about now is not an indication that you have done something wrong or that something bad is happening. Anxiety is an indication of anxiety – and if you treat your feelings and thoughts with the care that they deserve, you can take simple and direct approaches to coping with them, Taurus. Small practical actions are what you need to better tap into your internal resources and support both your mental wellness and the situational dynamics that you are invested in this week.
Your ruling planet, Mercury, has gone retrograde. That makes it a really good time for you to reflect on how you have been processing information, relating to people, and to generally catch up with things that have fallen through the cracks. Unfortunately, it can also mean that anxieties about the things you can't control and do not yet understand may also be spiking. Do your best to slow down and get grounded so that you can be curious instead of panicked, and reflective instead of obsessed, Twin Star.
The Eclipse on March 3rd will be felt by all, but as you are ruled by the Moon you are going to be particularly sensitive to it. This week it's important that you notice your tendency to focus on other people – what they're saying, doing, thinking, or feeling, and instead of focus on your own self. Seek balance within by protecting your peace, being accountable for how you behave, and striving to attend to your needs and responsibilities in a balanced and honest way, Moonchild.
The way that you navigate your fears, responsibilities, and goals is requiring greater attention this week. You may find yourself feeling pretty overwhelmed or focusing on what's not working instead of what's most deserving of your attention and care. This is a time for learning from the people around you – whether it's learning what not to do or different ways of going about things that are more effective than what you’re currently doing. Explore your options, Leo.
The Lunar Eclipse in your sign on the 3rd is meant to be not only a time where you have a lot of really important emotions come up, but one where your patterns become clearer to you so that you may evolve. This is the wrong time to look outside of yourself for answers, but it is equally not the time for ignoring the feedback of others. Strive to be accountable in a balanced way while leaving space for change, both expected and unexpected, Virgo.
This is a bad time to overextend yourself or start any big new projects because things are not stable enough to build upon in this moment. Do your best to sit with your feelings before acting on them, Libra, because your first responses are unlikely to be your wisest ones this week. The more stability that you try to create within yourself, the more of your own resources that you will have easy access to, and that is as good as it gets. Build yourself up first and foremost.
The astrology of this week is really rattling, and so the people around you may be feeling it in ways that make them unpredictable. This is kind of what you were born for though – you are good at navigating intensity and not easily scared off by others' big emotions. Do your best to show up for the people and things that you care about, especially when you can tell that they are struggling this week, Scorpio. Trust in your ability to meet the moment with a full heart.
Some choices you make end up having unintended consequences that trigger resentment and not the circumstances that you are hoping for. This week it's important that you tap into your agency and remember that you have made choices to this point that you can choose to learn from, and you still have choices to make. The more connected that you are to your capacity to explore possibility, the better you're going to feel, and the better resource you will be, Sagittarius.
This is a really good time for you to take a creative and collaborative approach to your problems, Capricorn. There are things that you care deeply about and responsibilities that you are committed to honoring. If those things don't overlap with what you care about, it's time to make some changes. As much as it doesn't feel like it sometimes, you are in charge of your own life. If you determine that it's time to make changes, the best way to start is at the root of the matter which you will find deep within your own heart.
If you find yourself struggling with overwhelm this week, you're not alone, Aquarius. Instead of pushing yourself to power through or comparing yourself, your progress, or your capacity to that of others, strive to meet this moment with as much empathy and patience as you can. Being present is not a practice of feeling good all the time – it is instead of practice of receiving your emotions, accepting them for what they are, and endeavoring to understand what they are trying to communicate to you. Rise to the challenge.
Mercury retrograde starts in your sign on the 25th and that's going to create some stress in your thinking and potentially in your relationships. On March 3rd, there will be a Lunar Eclipse in your solar relationship house, further complicating your interpersonal life. The best way to deal with it all is by practicing being present and communicating as simply and directly as you know how. Be the change that you want to see in your life, Pisces. You don't need to be perfect, just strive to practice presence.
