Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm your host, Jessica Lanyadoo. I'm an astrologer, psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm going to give you your weekly horoscope and no-bullshit mystical advice for living your very best life.

This week, we are looking at the astrology of March 22nd through the 28th. At the end of the episode, I'm going to share a little bit more about my five-week series on alignment, and it starts April 5th. There's a lot I can share about it, but again, I'll share it at the end, so for folks who aren't interested in taking a class with me on alignment, you don't have to listen to it.

Okay. So we're looking at the astrology of March 22nd through the 28th. And just because it's been a minute since I've said this explicitly and without any confusion, let me say this. Fuck ICE. Fuck the white Christian nationalist movements that are blooming all over the world and the regimes that support them. Fuck genocide. And within that, free Palestine. Free Sudan. And free every other nation that is struggling under the boot of imperialism, genocide, and oppression.

In a racist, ableist, misogynistic, homophobic world, we all struggle with these things inside of ourselves—of course, some of us a lot more than others, and some of us from more of a power position than others. Recognizing that there are things to work on in yourself so that you show up in the world around you with greater integrity—that is all of our assignments. That's part of being a good member of the human race. And it's also radical, which is sad, but it is. It should be super normie, but it isn't.

And so I want to invite you to be brave enough to explore the parts of yourself that you don't want to have there, to be willing to investigate, educate, and adapt as you learn more about the world, as you learn more about what you believe to be right and wrong. It's okay to be wrong. What you want to do is learn. What you want to do is learn, and when you learn, adapt. Change. We all make mistakes. That's just part of being a human. It's whether or not you learn from your mistakes. That's the million-dollar question.

And none of us learn from all of our mistakes in a timely fashion. Again, we don't want to be perfectionistic. But we do want to be open to evolving as we learn more. And the more open you are to do that as you age, the easier, the more graceful, it is to grow older because, as we grow older, we have the potential to grow older or to just get older.

Now, I'm doing this new thing here on the podcast where I'm giving you a TL;DR, a little quickie take on the forecast I'm about to give you. And—fun fact—now that I am posting the video version of the podcast on the public page of my Patreon, there's space for you to ask me questions if you have them—I mean, within reason. But you can go ahead and ask me questions there. It's a place where I am happy to engage. Meet me over there at patreon.com/jessicalanyadoo.

Okay. To your TL;DR for this week's kind of intense forecast. Anxiety requires boundaries. Learn from what you feel but also from how you respond to your feelings, how you navigate your feelings. It's all going to make sense in a minute. And this is all thanks to the Sun conjoining both Neptune and Saturn in Aries and sextiling Pluto. That Sun sextile Pluto reminds you that you can change. You can evolve. You can grow.

But we also have a Venus conjunction to Chiron, also in Aries. And this is where you want to trust in your ability to embody your values, even when it's hard, even when it's confronting, even when it requires a serious break from the past. And then, finally—this one's really important. It's a Saturn sextile to Pluto. Change is not only about doing things and getting results. It's about paving the way for progress.

Sometimes, when we work towards progress, all we can see as a result is that it's labor, that it's work. And sometimes we get results. But we cannot do the work of trying to create progress in the world, inside of ourselves, in our relationships, at work, etc., and expect that just because we're trying, we see results right away. It's about paving the damn way. We will get into it. But that's your TL;DR, okay? Let's now dive in.

So our first exact transit happens on Sunday, March 22nd. It's a Sun conjunction to Neptune. The Sun and Neptune will both be at 1 degree and 51 minutes of Aries. This transit will be exact at 4:18 a.m. Pacific Time. Now, I kind of talked a little bit about this last week's horoscope because you were feeling it on the weekend already. But this transit—it's really just kind of demoralizing. The Sun is your central energies. It is your sense of self and your identity. It's one of the planets that is really central to your vitality. And Neptune is the great sieve. It is not about individual vitality. It is not about a strong sense of self.

And so a lot of people experience anxieties when this transit occurs. You may just feel exhausted, demoralized, kind of off. And there's kind of an assignment inside of that, but first, let me say this. When the Sun and Neptune are so close together, a couple of things tend to happen. For some people, what occurs is your spiritual sensitivities or your energetic boundaries are just kind of blown open. And this is not a bad thing or a good thing, but it's a lot.

And so, if you are somebody who is around a lot of psychic vampires, if you yourself are a psychic vampire, this transit is really going to create a lot of porousness and potential shifts in your relationships. If you've been feeling just fucking exhausted—you just need some space and some time—this transit might create a situation where you actually have to abide by the needs of your psychology, physiology—whatever.

This transit can coincide with spiritual experiences, but generally speaking, the spiritual experiences that we have during this transit are not completely reliable. It's kind of like you're standing too close to the painting to be able to make sense of what you're really seeing. You know what I mean? Sun conjunction to Neptune is a little bit more escapist than spiritually clear. And so, if you do have a spiritual experience, I would give it several days before you try to make sense of it or decide whether or not you can interpret it as literally as you are probably wanting to.

The work of a Sun/Neptune transit is healthy boundaries. So what the healthy boundaries that you need are are specific to you in this moment and the situation you're in. So you might think about the boundaries you need with your bestie, and those might be really different boundaries than the ones you need with your phone, as an example. Being able to recognize that you have limits and working within your limits helps you to show up more wholly, more fully, is a powerful form of adulting.

Related to this is Neptunian devotion. Neptune is associated with devotion both on a big love level and a one-on-one love level. "I love all cats" is a form of devotion, but the love I have for my individual cat is a different form of devotion. They're both Neptune. The trouble comes up when we have a Sun/Neptune conjunction like we have today when you are expressing and upholding devotion for something or someone else at the expense of your devotion for yourself or—flip that—when you are disproportionately centering yourself at cross purposes or out of alignment with your care for others, whether it's other things or other people.

So there's a need here for boundaries. Boundaries are about balance and clarity, not about walls and limitations, especially when Neptune is concerned, as it is. Now, we want to also keep in mind this is all happening in the zodiac sign of Aries. We have a very Aries forecast right now. Aries is a fast-acting cardinal fire sign. A common way that people experience these energies is physically, like in your body. So that sense of urgency that you feel—so Aries.

So there may be a sense of urgency or a sense of protectiveness or a sense of shutdown that you feel in your physical body that is connected to all this other stuff. You want to pay attention to that because, with more awareness, with more information, you can make better choices for yourself and others.

Okay. So this transit ends, and on Wednesday, the 25th, the Sun/Saturn conjunction begins. So we don't have a technical overlap, but I feel pretty confident that it's going to feel like an overlap to most of us. Shifting from Neptunian foggy energies to Saturnian demanding energies is kind of a feat, truth be told.

So, on the 25th, which is Wednesday, at exactly 1:55 a.m. Pacific Time, the Sun will be at 4 degrees and 43 minutes of Aries, and so will Saturn. So that Sun/Saturn conjunction is consequential. The reason why it's consequential is because Saturn is all about consequences. Now, a lot of people hear the word "consequences" and they think punishment. They think, "Oh shit. What did I do wrong?" And that is not what consequences means.

Consequences are consequences. It is the things that are resultant from your behavior or lack thereof. It's simply the effect that comes from cause—cause and effect. You've heard of it. The consequences you encounter during the Sun conjunction to Saturn may be really positive. They may be affirmation. They may be accolades. They may be success. Shit might come together. You might be like, "Oh, I couldn't figure this thing out, and it's like I know what to do now." Or you may be like, "Oh shit. Now I have to deal with this mistake I made or this problem that I've been avoiding," or whatever.

The Sun conjunction to Saturn is consequential, which means you are not only encountering consequences, but the behavior, the attitude, the approach that you engage in will be consequential. So this is not a time to phone it in. Luckily, later on the same morning, at 11:16 a.m. Pacific Time, the Sun will be exactly sextile to Pluto, with the Sun at 5 degrees and 6 minutes of Aries and Pluto at the same degrees of Aquarius.

Now, that Sun sextile to Pluto is fucking lovely. It is a wonderful transit. It's so supportive to have overlap with the Sun conjunction to Saturn because Sun sextile to Pluto really connects you to your willingness to get your hands dirty and get in there, to engage with things deeply, to bring about reform or change, to evolve and to grow. Love to see it, right?

This is a transit that empowers you to be better resourced. Sun conjunction to Saturn can make you feel like you're alone, you're stuck, you can't do anything—no one can do anything. Things are never going to evolve and change. Again, Saturn is kind of a boner killer. What the Sun sextile to Pluto is offering us is this wonderful spark of energy that says, "Oh, but I actually know what it can change. Maybe I don't know how right now, but I know it's possible."

This transit, the Sun sextile to Saturn—it wants you to work hard. It wants you to show up—to show up. The Sun conjunction to Neptune is super escapist. You may want to sleep all day. You might find yourself doing things that are just super escapist and not particularly engaging or don't help to move the needle forward in any meaningful way, which—you know, not bad, not good, just what often happens when the Sun and Neptune meet.

But the Sun conjunction to Saturn—it kind of demands that you do something with the energy. It kind of demands that you show up and you work. Otherwise, you're more likely to have either the experience of rigidity, anger, defensiveness, or insecurity, feelings of loneliness and sadness and just crushed by the world.

These transits—the way they hit you personally is personal to you. But the risk with a transit like this one is that it can add to feelings of nihilism, like, "There's no point. Everything's hard, so fuck it." And so, if you're somebody who really struggles with that, I want to gently point you towards the Sun sextile to Pluto, which reminds you that not only can you change, but lots of people change in lots of ways all the time, that growth is possible, that you do have resources, that you are resourceful. You might not be feeling that way right now, but you are. You have been resourceful in the past, and you can be resourceful today.

The feelings of insecurity and demoralization and happiness and exhaustion that the Sun conjunctions to Saturn and Neptune kick up are a really wonderful, not-so-gentle reminder that hanging out with people that make you feel like shit is a bad idea, okay? Doing things that are misaligned, that you don't believe in—also a really bad idea. I mean, listen. These things are unavoidable at times—life, right? Life. But there are consequences for all the things we do, the things we feel like we don't have a choice around and the things that we are very strategic about. There are consequences. And this week is going to really have you confronted with those, at least some of them.

Our next exact transit happens on March 26th, which is Thursday, at exactly 3:45 p.m. Pacific Time. We have Venus at 25 degrees of Aries and 26 minutes sitting directly on top of Chiron in Aries. So, again, we have a lot of Aries conjunction vibes. It's a confronting energy because it's kind of a lot of energy stacked on top of itself. Conjunctions are when planets sit on top of each other. So there's a lot of energy to do something, and you may feel it really physically. Aries is, of course, governed by Mars. And so, for some people, it's an agitating energy. For others, it's a motivating energy. And of course, for most people, it's a little bit of both because life, right?

Venus conjunction to Chiron is a transit where core insecurities and wounds come to the surface. Now, this is in relationship to Venus. So it's about your values system. It's about your capacity for kindness and authenticity. It's about, therefore, your relationships, your relationship to beauty, and your relationship to how you look or how you feel that you're perceived—tender things. Venus also governs our finances. These are all values-based things.

And so the Venus conjunction to Chiron can confront you with insecurities about any of these things. It can confront you with relationship issues that are really just like you don't know what to do with them. And so I want to gently but firmly point you in the direction of your values system. The struggle of Venus, the core struggle of Venus, is authenticity versus being accommodating. And listen. You gotta be accommodating in life. Life is—there's a lot of things we gotta accommodate.

However, when we practice being accommodating to everyone but ourselves, to everything but what we believe in, what we value, life becomes less and less happy, truly. And so a confronting transit like Venus conjunction to Chiron may point out to you where you don't feel particularly happy. It may confront to you old beliefs, convictions, patterns in your relationships that you really need to 2.0. And when I say 2.0, I'm just talking about healing. I'm talking about evolving—not perfection, just being in process with yourself where you're moving towards living in greater alignment with your values and moving towards being more kind to yourself and to others.

And sometimes, being kind to others is like cutting them loose. Sometimes, being kind to others is saying something challenging. Kindness is not niceness. They can overlap, but they're not inherently the same thing. Ask yourself whether or not you're being kind to the people in your life, whether or not you're being kind to yourself, if you know the difference between kindness and niceness, because niceness is a lot more surface than kindness. Niceness is more motivated by getting along, whereas kindness is motivated more by clarity of values.

Okay. And that brings us to our last transit. And this one is really important to talk about because it's two outer planets aspecting each other. These transits are always really important, not just because of how they impact you directly but also for the opportunities that they create in the world because these are generational transits, so they affect us on a generational level—is big energies, heavy energies.

On March 28th, which is a Saturday, at exactly 3:15 p.m. Pacific Time, Saturn will be at 5 degrees of Aries and 10 minutes, forming an exact sextile to Pluto at the same degrees of Aquarius. So, in my TL;DR, I named for you that if all you're focused on is creating results, then you're not engaged in the work of making progress.

Progress is something that happens over time, not in an instant. And honestly, you know what? Honestly, sometimes, it does happen in an instant. But if your condition for working towards something is that you see results quickly and efficiently in the ways that you would like, exactly on the time frame that you would like, then you will find that achieving results is incredibly difficult for you and that you are easily demoralized.

And listen. You're impatient. I'm impatient. Fine. We're all impatient. However, when a transit like Saturn sextile to Pluto occurs, you have these two heavy-hitting planets that can be, actually, really challenging to deal with a lot of the time. Saturn is about responsibility and reality and time, and Pluto is about transformation and depth and intensity. But they're forming a sextile to each other, so they're supporting each other.

This is a time where you can work on and towards long-term goals. I'm not saying you will see results this week. I'm saying that the path you lay, the seeds you plant, the adaptations you strive to create, will be solid. So, if you do a bunch of unhealthy shit, that will be solid. You will really be planting those seeds, setting those intentions, paving the road with stupid shit.

It's important to recognize that this energy and the planets, astrology—it's not moralistic. This transit indicates that what you do will pave the road. It doesn't indicate that you will do excellent things. That's where your choices come in. That's where you have free will. So I want to encourage you to be very intentional about what you do, the motivations driving what you do, how you do it.

I don't want to point you at all towards outcomes because, again, this is not the time for quick outcomes. It's a time for paving the road for progress. This applies to your health and wellness. It applies to your creative endeavors. It applies to activism, humanitarian efforts, and other socially relevant ways you engage in the world. It applies to your relationships, your work, to all of it.

Luckily, because Saturn and Pluto are both involved, this transit brings with it a lot of staying power. It brings with it determination, a willingness to work hard, and the depth needed to really sit with and assess what the best actions are or what the best goals are. Saturn favors hard work and effort. Pluto favors depth and a willingness to change. The combination of the two is fucking lovely. Like, it's super lovely.

So do your best to tap in. Think about your big-picture goals. I'm talking years-long goals, not just days or months-long goals. And ask yourself, if you don't know how to think about many years into the future, who that serves. How does that serve you and the people and things that you care about? Listen. It's a fucked-up world. It's a scary world. It is really unclear what will happen next. It's really unclear what kind of a world we're going to have in a year, three years, five years—whatever.

But that doesn't mean we abandon ship. It doesn't mean that you stop investing in building the world you want to live in, the life you want to live in, the self you want to embody and be. We still have to try. I mean, honestly, you don't have to do anything. You have free will. But trying makes life more bearable. And if you try and you try and it doesn't work out, at least you know you tried, whereas if things don't work out the way you want them to and you know you didn't do anything to try to make them better, it makes life a lot harder to live. It just does.

Doing things that hold value for you is important, not just because of getting what you want, but because of the life it creates, because of the person it empowers you to be. And fuck, I mean, there's no promises in life. And certainly, the astrology of this week, next week, all the weeks—it can be challenging at times. But just because we encounter challenges doesn't mean that things are bad. And just because things are bad doesn't mean we don't have a voice. It doesn't mean we don't have the opportunity to make them better or at least to try. The trying—it can be really burdensome at times to think about trying, but the trying—it makes your life a happier, healthier place to inhabit. So think about where you might need to refocus your energy or point your energy towards this Saturn sextile to Pluto.

And that's your horoscope for this week. It's a lot to take in, so as always, just remember that I've got the transcript available for you on my website within about 24 hours of this episode drop.

And as promised, I want to share a little bit more with you about my April 5th class, which is not just on April 5th. It's five weeks starting April 5th. It is Alignment: A Five-Week Journey. And I'm an astrologer, right? And I know some people expect that as an astrologer all I would do is teach astrology. But I'm not just an astrologer.  I am also a psychic medium and animal communicator. I work with the Tarot and do various forms of intuitive work.

A huge part of how I organize information and share it in public is through astrology, but to me, as much as I have dedicated my life to astrology and I love astrology, astrology is not the point to me. I'm a humanistic astrologer, so for me, the humanity is the point. The human at the center is the point. And so, as I have been living through the fucking hellscape that we're all in in the world in 2025, I really just was struggling with, what is it that I feel called to share or to teach?

And that's when it crystallized for me at the start of 2026 that I wanted to teach alignment because alignment is not something that you achieve and it's one and done, and then there's a blue light and you're healed. Alignment is a practice. And when you practice aligning, getting in alignment with yourself, when you recognize when you are not in alignment, life gets easier. It's not that you stop having problems. You're still going to have problems. But assessing your options, making choices, figuring out what you need, how you can show up, what your limitations are, becomes a lot less complicated.

And so, on week 1 of our five-week journey, we're going to really talk about presence. What does it mean to be present? How do you get present? How do you recognize when you are not present? In week 2, we're going to deepen that and go into acceptance. How can you accept what you are experiencing in the present moment, who you are, where you're at, where the world is at? In week 3, we go to a level that I think is really hard for a lot of us, which is perfectionism, really recognizing the ways in which we have a carceral mindset and we limit our thinking, our potential, and our relationship to ourselves and others through perfectionism.

Week 4, we tap into agency, how you make choices, how you mobilize on who you are, what you're convicted around, and what is true for you. And then, in the fifth and final week, we tap into love. And I'm not talking about being in love with people. I'm talking about love from an energetic place. I'm talking about love, like the energy of love, the motivation of love, because if your relationship to yourself isn't in some meaningful way motivated by love, all of this other work is hard to hold. And showing up with and for others is also really hard to sustain over time.

Through this journey, I will be giving talks each week on each of these topics and then answering questions live. I'm going to answer a lot of questions, as many as I can get to. I'm going to give you tools. I like to keep shit practical, so I'm going to give you tools that you can return to again and again. And you won't have to add anything to it. I want to keep it as simple and usable as possible.

If you can't meet every week, which—I don't expect that most people can meet for five weeks every week—that's okay. Each person who registers will get a video replay in their inbox. I do have tickets available by sliding scale. The community tier tickets are going fast, and I do have stipulations on them, so please do check that out before you go ahead and select your price tier.

And if this resonates with you, I hope you'll join me there. This is the first time I've taught a five-week series, so I'm really excited to have this experience and to share it with you because I think that this work is really important. I think it's really important now. And I am a big fan of having a list that I can check and that I can reference as a way to help myself when things get complicated. That's what I'm here to offer you. If you have any other questions, read the description of the class. It is linked in show notes.

And as always, I want to thank you so much for joining me this week on Ghost. You can check out the video version of this and every episode over on the public page of my Patreon, on YouTube, or on whatever podcasting platform you listen to that supports video episodes.

And if you would like a reading with me, there's only one—well, I guess now there's two ways to get a reading with me. One is here on Ghost of a Podcast. You can fill out the contact form on my website to send in a question to be considered for the show, or on my mentorship tier, the lovers tier on Patreon where I offer a reading to one person in the group every month. And the latest reading is animal communication and really tender and sweet.

Take good care of yourself and others, and I will talk to you in just a couple of days.
