Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm your host, Jessica Lanyadoo. I'm an astrologer, psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm going to give you your weekly horoscope and no-bullshit mystical advice for living your very best life.

Welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. I really don't know where to begin this week. There's a lot we're going to talk about throughout the course of this conversation looking at the astrology of July 6th through the 12th, but I gotta say for my American friends I don't know exactly what I should be saying to you. I imagine that most people fall into one of two camps—one, you don't really know what's happening in the news; you don't really know what's happening on a social, political, and climate crisis level, and you're not paying a whole lot of attention to it, or you do know and you're not that scared. To you I want to say it is time for you to pay attention. It is time for you to accept that you are living in a different world now than you were a week ago. Things have changed, and it's important when things change that we understand and accept that they've changed so that we can adapt.

And then there's another camp of people who are really aware of what the fuck is happening, who understand that things like the passing of the Big, Beautiful Bill and the establishment of Alligator Alcatraz, or what many people are calling Alligator Auschwitz—that these things are fucking real. You are aware of them, and you are fucking scared. And to you I want to say it is a good thing to be scared of scary things, but it is how you navigate your fear that is defining, that is important. And so to have a real awareness and understanding of what is happening right now means to feel bad. It means you are terrified for yourself and for others—depending on your nature, maybe more one than the other, but fear, right?

I want to encourage you to take the wisdom from your fear and to not dissolve, fall apart, or project out and become enraged and ineffective with your fear—that's not to shit on anger. You know I'm a huge fan of anger, of tapping into anger and rage and using it as a catalyzing force. It's about taking the wisdom of your emotional responses to what's real and using it to help get yourself organized and engaged.

This podcast, Ghost of a Podcast—a huge motivation for me to start it was me seeing this coming, and, you know, an airborne pandemic. But these things that the astrology has predicted were not foretold and therefore inevitable. They were a combination of probability and possibility. And within that, my hope with the resource of this podcast and my work is to help you to be emotionally present for and with challenges because when we live through atrocities, when we live through injustice, when we live through collective cruelty, when we live through major risk, crisis, it's when we feel the most justified in acting selfishly or cruelly if we're not careful.

And so my hope is that you believe what you're seeing, that you understand what time it is, and you are willing to adapt to the times, and that within that process, you stay emotionally present as much as you can, that you center empathy and care. Listen. Using astrology as the structure for how I'll say this, you can see a transit coming. You can be a highly skilled and self-aware astrologer, or you can consult with all the best astrologers of the world about this transit before it comes. But that will only prepare you in a very limited way for living through the transit because, to quote a fucking terrible cartoon from the '80s, knowing is half the battle.

Knowledge is exceptionally important. Understanding the moment we're in, understanding the historical context, is so important. But it is truly about how we show up, how we arrive to the moment. That's what's defining. This is a time for making imperfect unions. Whether we consider the implications of the Saturn/Neptune conjunction or this week's ingress of Uranus into Gemini, I want to say things are changing. They're changing quick. And things aren't clear. Things aren't perfect. That's what's up. That's what time it is.

The United States government is—to say making human rights violations is such a profound understatement. This is not a time for waiting for solutions that are perfect. This is a time for being willing to make compromises and sacrifices in order to care for the people around you—for the most vulnerable people, for yourself. I know that so many of us struggle with perfectionism. This is not the time to wait for the perfect thing to do or to try to figure out what the perfect next step is. This is the time for you—you personally—to act towards progress in whatever ways you can or you deem best—not perfect. Best.

And within that, as I said very recently but I think is worth repeating, there needs to be room for radicals, for Marxists, for people who work within the system, for people who are more intellectual, for people who are the carers, for people who are more direct action-oriented. There's room for all of us. There needs to be room for all of us. And when you look around you when you spend time in online communities or in meat suit communities, you will encounter different people who have convictions about the best or only way. You will encounter people who are impressive in their ways of doing things, with their clarity of purpose or their clarity of action or their bravery or their intelligence—whatever it is.

Let these people inspire you. Maybe you are that person for someone else. Allow yourself to inspire others. But we don't want to be fixed. As Uranus moves out of Taurus, we now have mutable and cardinal energy outside of fucking Pluto. We'll come back to that in another episode, the Pluto part. But this is a time for being adaptable. So take inspiration without needing to emulate one way of doing things. Just because a path is perfect for one person doesn't mean it is for another. I want to be clear I'm not saying that there's not a collective vision towards truth that we need, but I'm saying just because you aren't exactly like that one person who really inspires you doesn't mean that there isn't a way forward for you right here, right now, today.

I also want to be clear that inaction, staying willfully ignorant, is not a neutral stance. For those who are inactive, who don't participate in any way, what you're doing is paving the road for oppressors. And the oppressors, who are building camps with no rules, with no cameras, with no justice—those people are fucking organized. They are organized, and they have a lot of people willing to help them and even more people willing to not get in their way. And it is those who are willing to not get in their way that actually know better but aren't doing better—don't be that person. Don't be that person.

As I've been saying for quite some time now, everything changes in July. Everything changes in July. And I am recording this on July 5th, and already, so much has changed. I feel that the world is different. I do not believe that I am fearmongering. I am acknowledging my fear, and I am not recoiling from my fear. I am allowing my fear to inform me, and I want to share it with you because the world is different, and that means you need to change, and your plans may need to change. If you think your proximity to power, whether it's through your whiteness, your heterosexuality or your being straight-passing, your religious background, your citizenship, the fact that you're healthy and strong, your willingness to comply—if you think any of those things are going to save you from these dire fucking times, I want to say that I do not believe that is the case. And I'm not just talking about physical threats to your safety or your sovereignty. I'm talking about the spiritual and existential threat of being a party to the perpetration of fucking evil.

It is essential that you regard reality for what it is, and that's hard to do. Neptune/Saturn conjunction is making it very hard to accept reality. That's part of the function of the transit. Another part of the function of that transit is that Neptune helps to resolve the rigidity of Saturn and empower us to imagine different and better systems. But when Neptune and Saturn come together, things dissolve. It's hard to build them up. And this is part of the reality we must confront.

The actions of the United States government at this time are not an invention of cruelty. They are a doubling down on the founding project of this nation, wherein white Christian heterosexual men gave themselves rights and no one else, gave themselves citizenship and no one else. And it is through activism and blood and fighting and so much time that everyone else in this nation got rights, got citizenship, got power. And this administration wants to take us all the way back.

It is not enough to regard the truth and to care. We must pair our empathy with action. And it is not enough to take action, whatever that action may be. Again, I want to hold space for there are so many ways that different people are going to show up, based on a myriad of factors. But not only must we act, we must act without attachment. Now, of course, this is a spiritual podcast, so let's get into that for a moment here.

What does it mean to act without attachment? It means to act because you believe that the action is righteous and just, because that action is aligned, and not because that action will yield a specific result at a specific time. Of course, we want our efforts to yield results. That's passion. That's vision. But if you are attached, then when things don't go your way, when things don't go our way, you may experience a level of burnout that has you really fucked up. Nonattachment is truly about staying with what's in alignment even if the results aren't validating or reaffirming. That's fucking hard, and it's not always possible. But it is a meaningful part of the assignment now. Do what is right because it is right and not because of what happens or the validation you get. Understand that your fears are justified, but your fears are not an entitlement to allowing other people to suffer while you wring your hands in fear about how you might be next. This is a time for personal risk. This is a time for confronting the ugliness that fear can kick up in a person.

As an astrologer, when things are grim, I always get asked, "When will it be over?" "Things can't possibly get worse," people say to me. "When will they get better?" You might be thinking that way right now, and I want to address it. First of all, things can always get worse. Look a Gaza. Look at what is happening to the people of Palestine. Things can get worse. They can also get better, but things can get worse. And it is escapist to say things can't possibly get worse. It's almost like holding your breath and waiting for the bad thing to pass over you. So get that question out of your noodle if you can.

And in regards to when is it over, this question is a subtle but meaningful misunderstanding of astrology. Astrology articulates the weather. And within the weather are all kinds of probabilities, but there's always the possibility for things to go different. We are not passively experiencing the effects of astrology. We are, 100 percent of the time, actively engaging with the effects of astrology. We are co-creating what astrology even is.

2026 looks harder than 2025 to me astrologically. Astrology articulates the energy. And an important part of an astrologer's job is to understand human nature, and to understand it in alignment with understanding the astrology. And so, if, as we're acknowledging the horrors in Gaza—if we use that as an example to understand how the government and the people—not all of the people in Israel, just like not all of the people in the United States, right? But when we look to how Isreal was established on the heels of the Holocaust for people that just suffered a horrifying genocide, we see how trauma and fear can empower people to either perpetrate terrible harm or to give themselves a pass so that they themselves don't feel responsible for anything but their own safety and their own recovery.

This is a thing that happens with humans. It's not specific to that region or that period. It's a thing that happens with humans. Don't let your fear of what might happen to you tomorrow stop you from engaging with what's right today. Understand that the role that fear plays in the perpetration of evil is essential because the fascists, the Nazis, the enslavers are banking on the bulk of us not getting in their way. So we can't. We can't for a moment forget that we are the majority. We are the majority.

In the United States, women, all people of color, people who are not Christian, Queers, Trans folks—we collectively are the majority, and we need to act that way. But it's hard to do that when we're picking each other apart about, "Who did you vote for?" and, "How do you engage with this activism?" and, "What is your praxis?" and, "What theory do you think is the most relevant theory?" We need to stop tearing each other apart.

Let me say this clearly. It is the systems, it is ICE, it is all branches of the U.S. government, that want to incarcerate, punish, make sick and unsafe the people of this country. That's the enemy, not the people who disagree with you about the right way of fighting the enemy. They're not your enemy. We are facing impossible circumstances, and this is the time that you need your emotional intelligence at the forefront of your awareness. Empathy is a practice; it's not a feeling. Justice is a practice; it's not a theory.

This doesn't get better. We make this better. Let me repeat it, okay? This won't get better. We will make it better. We are active participants in the co-creation of this world, and that includes your apathy, and it includes your fear, and it includes your wisdom, and it includes your passion, and it includes all the things because it's messy. Being able to navigate your emotions is foundational for being able to sustain the path ahead. Being able to navigate your emotions helps you be in contact with your own humanity, to do what is right for yourself, for your community, and for the larger communities.

Before we dive into the horoscope details, though, I do want to say that on my Patreon, I'm sharing a lot more direct tools and support around how to navigate emotions, thoughts, and energetic boundaries. So, if that's something that would feel supportive to you, you can join me over there. You can join on the free level and get loads of content or paid level and get so much more. I'm having a very challenging time engaging on social media these days for a whole lot of reasons that I don't need to talk about here, but all to say I am really active in sharing high-value content over on my Patreon. So, if you want to learn more with me, if you want extra support, giddyap on over at patreon.com/jessicalanyadoo.

And while I'm talking about URLs, in case you don't know, in the episode description of every single episode, there are a bunch of links—links to where you can find my audiobook and classes and Patreon and all that shit, but also resources to help folks in Palestine, to engage in political action. So, if that's of help, just so you know, it's a resource in the very episode description of each episode of Ghost of a Podcast. Okay. Now into your fucking horoscope, finally.

Okay. So the first exact transits of this week happen on Sunday, July 6th. At 1:43 a.m., Venus is exactly sextile to Saturn. And then, at 7:47 a.m., Venus is exactly sextile to Neptune. We're keeping in context Saturn and Neptune are conjoined. They are not exact, but man are they conjoined. And so whatever happens to one of the planets is happening to the other because Saturn is at 1 degree of Aries and 54 minutes, and Neptune is at 2 degrees of Aries and 10 minutes. They are minutes apart. They're very, very close. And of course, Venus is at the same degrees as those two planets but in the zodiac sign of Gemini.

So we've got Venus in Gemini sextiling Saturn and Neptune in Aries on Sunday, the 6th. These transits are fucking fabulous for grounding into your values and tapping into your humanity, your empathy, your care, and your creativity. Neptune helps you to envision what's possible, a more humane way of living. And Saturn is the reality principle. It's what is. It's the systems we live within. It's the realities we must function within.

When Venus forms a sextile to Saturn, you're more capable of pairing what you value with how you organize your days, your life, your engagement in the world. Venus and Saturn are both very pragmatic when they're together, and so this is a great transit for getting grounded and considering, "What is it that's important to me? What is it that's realistic? How can I organize my priorities? So what three things can I commit to doing for my mental health on a weekly basis or a daily basis or a monthly basis?"—however you want to think about it. "What three things can I do to engage in activism and resistance on a weekly basis or a monthly basis?" or whatever. This transit helps you to, in a grounded way, follow through with what's important to you, with your values.

Now, I'm going to talk about this in a more personal, Venus romantic-y way in a moment; don't worry. But Venus sextile Neptune overlapping with Venus sextile Saturn empowers you to be fed by your empathy and care. It empowers you to connect your values—Venus—and your ideals, which is Neptune, in a way that doesn't diminish one or the other, that isn't just about fantasy.

When it comes to any kind of humanitarian or justice-based work—when it comes to spiritual work as well—it's important that we're not just performing these things, but instead that we are present with the energetics and the depth of these things. So, whether we're talking about activism or we're talking about energy work, spiritual work, there's always the risk that we go through the motions but we're not really doing it. That's what a lot of people do, both of these things. And the reason why is because it is hard to change yourself. And in order to move energy, to really make changes energetically, whether, again, we're talking spiritually or in the co-creation of material circumstances that are systemic and entrenched, it's not just what we do; it's also the place from inside of you that you do it from.

In order to make progressive changes in the world, you must make them in yourself. In order to move energy, you must be willing and able to sit with the energy that's inside of you or that's inside of a place or a thing. And that's really hard. Creating progress, moving towards ideals, living in accordance with your values—it doesn't just require you to pursue actions. It requires you to be willing to change, to sit with the mess and the fear and the insecurity and the uncertainty, to acknowledge the ways in which you're fucked up and you have fucked up, and to not fall apart with that awareness but instead to hang out with the emotional discomfort that emerges. And as you hang out with it and you don't let it define you or overwhelm you, but you hang out with the impact of ways in which you've made mistakes or been wrong or whatever it is, then you start to be able to authentically change, to create authentic progress. And that's fucking useful. That's helpful. It's hard. It's messy. But it's the work. So the space and relationship between your values and ideals—Venus sextile to Neptune is here to help you to bridge that gap, and to bridge that gap in a way that actually works for you.

Now, all of this said, on a more personal and interpersonal level, Venus sextile Saturn makes you feel like, "Oh shit. I want to be in relationship to people. I want to be connected to people." And it may have you looking at your existing relationships and recognizing what is working and also what isn't working. Whenever we're dealing with Saturn, it's always an acknowledgment or an encounter with reality. And Venus is your relationships. It's also beauty and body-image stuff. It's about being realistic about how you look or your relationship to how you look.

Now, Venus sextile Neptune is a transit for playing with aesthetics and all that kind of good stuff, to which I want to say it's important that you hold these things in proportion to their actual value to their life, to not overfixate on what's on the surface when what's truly important is what's inside of you. And also, what's inside of you is really foundational and important to your relationships with other people.

That Venus sextile Saturn is really a transit that can solidify your clarity about your relationships, or it can solidify something between you and someone else. Venus sextile to Neptune can help you to not just experience and be present with your care for other people but also to let other people know how you feel about them. This is an empathetic, caring, romantic transit. It can be very aesthetic, or it can be very deep. It can be both, right? Either way, the Venus sextile to Neptune creates more energy around love, beauty, and spirituality as well as issues related to your humanity. Again, this is the part where it's about empathy.

Now, the next day—we're talking Monday, July 7th—two really important things happen. The first is that at 1:44 a.m., Venus is at 3 degrees and 0 minutes, and Pluto is at the exact same degrees of Aquarius—3 degrees and 0 minutes of Aquarius. So Venus trine Pluto—another Venus transit. So I want to be really grounded about this. Venus is about values. It is also the planet associated with femaleness, which in the context of society, as I always say, is related to Nonbinary and Queer genders. And for those of us in the community, we know that there's a whole host of genders within queerness that exist. We might see some important shifts publicly around the rights of these genders. Because we're dealing with sextiles and trines, the hope is that these are positive shifts, but the question is always, positive by whose standards?

Venus trine to Pluto is another wonderful transit from Venus. It deepens your capacity to be connected to your values. It deepens your willingness to live in accordance and alignment with your values. It also makes you really excited about flirting and hooking up, and it also makes it more fun to play dress-up and to fuck with the way you look in an exciting way. It also can deepen your artistic practice and find you just feeling really fucking inspired.

These transits are all good for first dates. They're all good for hooking up, connecting, and experiencing yourself with others and others with you. This transit deepens your appreciation of all things Venus. So Pluto is the deepening influence, and Venus, of course—she is your values. It is the things you own. It's your finances. It's your relationships. And again, the connective tissue with all of these things that on the surface seem very different is your values. How much do you value beauty? How much do you value your relationships, the money you have in your hands, the things that you are surrounded by—all related to your values, Venus.

So we have this deepening agent from Pluto. Again, I cannot stress this enough. If you are a person who's like, "I don't really understand what values are.  I don't know what my values are," if you are a person who understands what's happening now means that it's time for you to reconnect intentionally with your values and to make some adaptations, these transits are here to help you.

This is a really lovely transit. All three of these transits I'm telling you about are really supportive. But whenever we go through easy, supportive transits, they can just pass you by. You don't have to do anything. Nothing's forcing your hand. And so I want to invite you to be intentional about how you connect to others, about the love you give and the love you receive, about the ways in which you are or are not creatively engaged with the world around you, with yourself, with other people, and of course with your values system.

Now, all this Venus stuff aside, we have another major event happening. At 12:47 a.m. Pacific Time on Monday, July 7th, Uranus ingresses into Gemini. This is a really big astrological event. Uranus will be in Gemini until 2033. Now, it's going to retrograde back into Taurus late November until April of 2026, so late November of 2025 until April of 2026. Do not be surprised by that. With these generational planets, whenever they ingress into a sign, they always retrograde back for a period.

Now, the last time Uranus moved into Gemini—and if you have any interest in the world around you, write these dates down and look at what was going on in the world. That's not a bad idea when it comes to these dates. Okay. The last time Uranus was in Gemini was in 1941 through '48. Yes, that is World War II. The time previous to that—1858 until 1866. For those who are curious, that was the Civil War of the United States of America. Time before that—1774 through 1782. And at that time, my friends, there was the American Revolutionary War.

In the Sibley chart of the United States—and if you don't know the chart of the United States, the one that's most frequently used is called the Sibley chart. And in the Sibley chart of the United States cast for July 4th, 1776, we have Uranus in Gemini. So, when the United States was born, if you will, we had Uranus in Gemini. So it's always very impactful in the U.S. when Uranus moves into Gemini.

We can and should expect that this transit, over in 2033, will be unpredictable. It will be impactful. Uranus is the planet of invention, of revolution and rebellion. Uranus is the planet of humanitarian groups and organizations. Uranus is the planet of disruption and upsets. It's electric in nature. It literally governs electricity. When Uranus is in Gemini, the people—Gemini, right? Gemini is like—it's your neighbors, it's your siblings, it's your friends, it's the people in your local community; that's what Gemini governs over in astrology—come together in groups that are ideologically motivated and imperfect and asymmetrical. That's Uranus in action. It is not perfect. It is not a straight line. It is jagged. It is a zigzag.

People come together to fight for freedom. That's what happens when Uranus is in Gemini. It stands to reason that those with power and those who are invested in groups of people being powerless dig in their heels and fight back. Uranus is in Gemini. This is a time to be curious, to be innovative. This is the time for futurists and organizers and historians, people who have a mind for understanding the patterns that have happened before and who are able to envision what can happen next and how it can happen next, to really just know this is your time. This is your time. Step into it.

When Uranus moves into Gemini, we have unexpected developments, communication changes. And the kind of changes that Uranus brings feel like they're out of left field. They happen really quickly. Uranus is electric, so it's quick. It's a thunderbolt. It's unpredictable. You still have to be prepared. Uranus in Gemini will be a time of unrest. And the thing about the United States is it is a global superpower. And what happens in the United States has a very important effect on millions upon millions upon millions of people all around the world. So, even if you're not in the United States, this matters to you. Even if you are not motivated by empathy and care for other people and their situation, trust me; this will trickle down to us all.

When I think about Uranus in Gemini, which—I will not lie—I do frequently—okay? When I think about Uranus in Gemini, I always return to thoughts about how we organize local relationships and communities, how we communicate and educate, our willingness to be interested in contrast and in difference instead of defensive or judgmental. We do not need to always be around people who agree with us. You do not need to defend your beliefs all the time to everyone. You can practice allowing someone to have a different worldview, a different analysis, a different set of perspectives or needs than you. Practice it. If there's ever a time you're going to develop this skill, my friend, it is in the time when Uranus is in Gemini.

Uranus in Taurus has been teaching you about who you value, about what you value, and how you live those values. Uranus in Gemini is going to disrupt that. It's going to ask you, "Put it into practice in this situation. Put it into practice in that situation. Whoops, the situation changed. Put it into practice this way." And if you don't have a real relationship to what is authentic, what is in alignment—in other words, what are your values—then that's going to be a lot harder on you.

This transit can coincide with changes in regards to the economy, and I'm speaking about this globally as well as locally. Trade relationships will change under a Uranus in Gemini transit. Relationships between neighboring nations, relationships between neighboring communities, relationships between you and your neighbor are set to change. And if you hear "change" and you think, "Oh no," then I hope you love what's going on right now. Change is not inherently good or bad. Change is simply change.

What happens next is a cocktail of possibility and probability. It's a cocktail of what has been and what we choose to co-create. It's okay to feel hopeless. It's okay to feel helpless. It's okay to feel confused. It sucks, but it's okay. That's fair. It's fair. But don't forget your agency, and don't forget that you are stronger when you're with others, in community, in connection. And for you, that might be primarily in relationships you build with people online, or it might be, for you, primarily relationships that you build in person, like in meat suit space.

For those of you who it is primarily online, it is important to face, to recognize, that the internet is changing very fucking quickly. And it is now—it has been the whole time, but it is really moving more heavily into a surveillance mechanism. And so digital security needs to be your priority. Don't be just using iMessenger. Don't be using Meta products for any kind of conversations. Don't run your whole life or your whole business on platforms that partner with Palantir, that actively work to repress and track you.

The internet for so long has been a place where we posted pictures of ourselves and our loved ones, of babies and grandparents, of where we are and what we're doing and all of those things. And that was so fun. Wasn't it fun? It was fun. And it is important that we all face that that's not what the internet is a safe place for anymore. Things have changed, and it's hard to change, but we have to change. Now, listen. You don't have to fucking do anything. Who am I to tell you what to do? I'm not telling you what to do. But also, things have changed. With Uranus's ingress into Gemini, your behavior online needs to change. It's more important that you read the fine print, that you check your security settings, than it's ever been. And this time next year, it'll be even more important. It's going to keep on going.

The combination of Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius strikes such intense feelings in my heart when I think about the surveillance and subjugation that can occur from these fucking digital devices that we have implanted on our bodies everywhere—in our homes, in our cars, in our places of work, everywhere. There are cameras everywhere, and you should act accordingly, my friends. You should act accordingly. And if you don't wear a fucking mask in public spaces because it's—whatever, for whatever reason, including you don't care about disabled people, which—you know how I feel about that shit. But maybe just wear them because you're being filmed all the damn time. Maybe that's a good reason.

The world is changed, and you too must change. And you don't have to do it this week, but it's worth being mindful of. It's worth noticing the energetics and noticing what happens in the world around you because here's the thing. When an outer planet ingresses into a new sign, we can generally feel it. Solar seasons change. Venus sign changes. I personally don't notice it. Maybe you do. Personally, I don't feel that shit. But when an outer planet changes, now we're fucking talking. That's when things really shift in society, and that impacts you directly and personally.

This is the thing. When collective conditions shift, that means that your place in the world has shifted, and you must adapt. It's very personal, even though it's also collective. And sometimes things move really quickly, and sometimes they don't. In regards to Saturn and Neptune in Aries, it's a fucking fire sign. It's a cardinal fire sign. It moves fast. And now Uranus in Gemini—again, shit is moving fast. Don't wait for it to stop moving fast. That's not what time it is. Things are moving fast, and so you must adapt or, at the very least, be curious. Be open-minded. Explore what's happening, what's real, what's not real—that kind of a thing.

Now, that brings us to the last exact transit of this week, and it's a doozy. It's called a Full Moon, Full Moon in Capricorn. At 1:37 p.m. Pacific Time, the Moon will be full in Capricorn. It'll be at 18 degrees of Capricorn and 50 minutes, sitting opposite the Sun at the exact same degrees of Cancer. Now, Full Moons are always the end of a cycle, the closure or the release of something. And that's why Full Moon feelings come to the surface, and people get really activated and they behave in ways that reflect their activation.

Capricorn is a zodiac sign associated with work, reality, hierarchies. And Cancer is nationalism, patriotism, family, home, personal needs versus Capricorn's public needs. So it makes sense with everything that's going on that we have this Full Moon in Capricorn that is creating tension between these themes and how they play out inside of you, how you show up for them, how you nurture your needs for showing up in the world, showing up for yourself, managing home versus your public ambitions, which may be career or not.

This Full Moon features that Venus sextile to Saturn and Neptune—but of course, it's much wider—as well as the Venus trine to Pluto—again, much wider. In this chart, Venus and Neptune are about 7 degrees apart. So we have the disruption of Venus conjunction to Uranus, faint but present. And so one thing I want to kind of ground you into this Full Moon in Capricorn is that if you are uncertain about what needs attention, about what to do, about what to let go of and what to invite in, allowing your values to be your guide, to literally light up the darkness for you—that's the fucking move.

Your values can help you to clarify your boundaries, your ambitions, to empower you to work smarter—emotionally, ethically smarter—instead of harder, trying to do everything and be everything all at once, because that's not realistic. This Full Moon in Capricorn forms a trine to Mars, which is motivating, catalyzing, and empowering. The Sun is also sextile to Mars. Again, these are wider aspects. But it is really worth noting that it is the only planet in the zodiac that is forming an aspect to the Sun or Moon. So it's an important one to pay attention to.

This Full Moon in Capricorn is a time of personal accountability, a time where you can access your wisdom, which is wrapped up in maturity—emotional maturity because we're talking about a Moon in Capricorn. So emotional wisdom and emotional maturity is really a product of learning from your experiences, learning from your successes and from your mistakes, learning from your challenges as well as the resources and gifts that you have. When we actually integrate those lessons past Mercury, past the mind, and into the heart, then we have emotional accountability, wisdom, maturity. And that empowers you to be responsible to what's important to you, whether that's to parts of yourself or your own internal progress or evolution, whether that's to your plans, your ambitions, to other people, or to the old person you hope to grow into one day. How do you set foundations for that person in the here and now, regardless of how old you are in the here and now?

Being accountable to yourself and others requires being present for wherever you're at. And if you can do that while also recognizing how you have progressed over time—how you've emotionally progressed, how you've materially progressed over time—if you can learn from the ebbs and flows of those developments, that's when you're making the most of a Full Moon in Capricorn.

I know that maturity and responsibility are not most people's favorite words or themes for a Full Moon, but they're really essential because without these things, we cannot achieve wisdom. Wisdom is earned. You don't study something and become wise at it. You practice something and embody the wisdom of that practice, right? Very Saturnian, very Capricornian. And so where can you recognize wisdom inside of yourself? Because wherever you are wise or you have wisdom, you have learned from your own experiences. You have embodied a practice of learning from those experiences. That doesn't mean you've been perfect. That doesn't mean you've been flawless. It simply means you have been accountable to yourself and others, and you have maturely taken responsibility, which—responsibility is simply the ability to respond. You've been able to take responsibility, to meet the moment, and to respond and to learn—to continue to learn. That's wisdom.

This Full Moon, strive to align yourself with your integrity and with a sense of purpose in this very Venusian week where Uranus just shoots right into Gemini, and everything is changing all at once. Grounding or centering yourself emotionally with your values intentionally can help you to identify a sense of purpose. And purpose doesn't have to be related to capitalism or something that other people can see or measure. Purpose can be any number of things and exist on many different levels. Finding your sense of purpose is a gift of this Capricorn Full Moon. But in classic Capricorn form, it's not a gift given to you for you to do with whatever. You gotta work. That's Capricorn, right? You gotta work.

And so the question is, are you working from a place of alignment? Are you working from a place of integrity? Are you driven, are you ambitious, in alignment with what you believe to be right, with what you want to be, with what you want to build? If not, a Full Moon is a good time to release the beliefs, the feelings, the habits, the dynamics, the relationships, the situations that are in your way.

Capricorn, ruled by Saturn—it's not a perfectionistic earth sign. That's Virgo's domain. It's more a sign that can get concerned with what other people think. So I want to ground you into that. You don't have to be someone else. You just have to be you. You don't have to be in a state of wisdom and maturity and responsibility of all things at all times. You just want to be pointed in the right direction, staying with the path.

This is my moment where I will remind you that Leo is represented by a lion and Pisces is represented by a fish, and Capricorn is a zodiac sign represented by a creature that does not exist—a sea goat. A sea goat. Have you ever stopped to think about that, how fucking weird that is? A goat with a mermaid fishtail? What? Goats are so much about their little legs, right? Like climbing up things, hanging out on people, things, whatever. And when we don't have the climbing function of a goat, which is—I don't know—the first thing I tend to think of with goats—when, instead, it's got a mermaid fishtail, what does that mean?

It means that the energetics of Capricorn are about wading through the waters of our ambitions. There is something really important to remember, and if you've been listening to me for a long time, you've heard me say this probably a million times. But Saturn/Capricorn archetype can be Darth Vader, right? Absolutely can be Darth Vader. But it's just as much Mary Poppins. It is magical. There is so much room for invention and reinvention when we're dealing with Capricorn's energies. It is represented by a magical, imaginary character.

So, when tapping into accountability and responsibility and maturity and wisdom, you don't have to go normal. You don't have to go conventional. You have to go alignment. Again, be Mary Poppins. Don't fall into the Darth Vader trap. If you're a person who does a lot of Full Moon rituals and stuff like that, I want to encourage you to not look outside of yourself for answers this month. Maybe try to tap into the knowledge you've accrued over the course of time that maybe you didn't realize lives inside of you.

And don't look on the internet or to a teacher, but see what you actually know already. Don't tap into anything else. Tap into yourself. See what you already know. Capricorn Full Moon is also a really good time for leaning on trusted teachers. Depends on where you're at. Depends on who you are. But this might be a good time for you to tap into your own wisdom, to open up to it, to feel it.

These are exceptional times. These are challenging times. They are asking us to change—otherwise, to trust and believe that we ourselves will be changed by the times. This Full Moon in Capricorn is an opportunity to tap into personal accountability. These Venus transits are helping you to align with your values, to be mindful about what you're aligning with and hope that you're aligning with your values. How will you rise to this occasion? Can you give yourself grace when you falter? Can you give others grace when they falter? Can you give others space to be different than you and give yourself space to be different from others—all while staying clear-eyed about the exceptional nature of these times and how that in itself is a call to action for people of conscience, for spiritual people, for people who are empathetic?

If you yourself are an empath, I am especially looking at you. Hopefully, you have been working on your energetic boundaries so that you may tap into your empathetic nature, your nature as an empath, and allow that to help inform you about what needs your attention, education, and engagement in the world instead of as justification for hiding from the world and waiting for other people to make things better for you and everyone else.

We are all in this together. It is hard. I don't mean to suggest it isn't. But the more that you understand that this isn't just happening to you or to them—it's happening to all of us—the less alone you may feel, the more you may realize that there are resources outside of yourself, and it is wise to tap into them, to co-create them, to access them—whatever it is—to offer them whatever it is that is in alignment with where you're at, with who you are. You get what I'm going for here.

Now, I'm going to run through this week's transits. On the 6th, Venus forms a sextile to Saturn and to Neptune. On the 7th, Venus forms a trine to Pluto, and Uranus finally moves into Gemini. And on the 10th of July, we have a Full Moon in Capricorn.

This is a tumultuous time. July is unpredictable. You don't need to know what's going to happen next in order to rise to the occasion in this moment. So practice tolerating uncertainty. Practice staying in alignment with your own values even when you're in a fucking windstorm. That's the assignment right now.

I want to thank you for tuning in to Ghost this week and every week. I hope you take really good care of yourself and of others, and I'll talk to you really soon.
