Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm your host, Jessica Lanyadoo. I'm an astrologer, psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm going to give you your weekly horoscope and no-bullshit mystical advice for living your very best life.
Welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. This week, we're looking at the astrology of November 30th through December the 6th of 2025. We are in the last month of the year somehow. I want to just take a moment to encourage you to ask yourself this question: who are you choosing to be? Who are you choosing to be?
We're talking about astrology here week after week. And as we talk about astrology, we're talking about things that are predestined to some extent or another. We know that there are certain energies at play, and astrology helps us to identify those energies to hopefully work intentionally and in a healthy way with those energies.
But within that, within predestiny, we have freewill. You have freewill. You get to choose how you respond to the circumstances you find yourself in. You don't get to control your circumstances. So much of life is outside of your control. But who you choose to be and how you choose to be—that's a reflection on you. And as you grow and as you age, it's important to acknowledge that you have the capacity to learn from your experiences. But nothing forces you to. Literally nothing will ever force you to learn. You can go through lesson after lesson and learn nothing if you so choose, and a lot of us do. A lot of us do.
As we are about to look at the astrology of this week, as you may be embarking upon the journey of reflecting on this past year now that we're at the end of it, I want to encourage you to check in with your sense of agency, who you choose to be, and to acknowledge that it's hard to grow. It's hard to navigate turmoil and difficulty. Some circumstances, some life paths, some birth charts, are a lot harder than others. But we all have freewill. We all have choice. And what you choose, how you choose to show up—that's who you are.
This week, we're going to be talking about more supportive astrology. So we're going to be looking at some sextiles and trines. There's also a Full Moon, so get ready. It's emo. But within these supportive transits, nothing's going to force you to grow. Nothing's going to force you to change. Nothing's going to force you to rise to the occasion. But you could choose to. There's so much potential in everything, the worst things and the best things. There's so much potential. But the challenge for each of us as individuals is to rise to meet it, and not out of fear and not out of pride, but out of self-love, out of self-awareness, because when you cultivate awareness and you hold it with self-love, that creates a foundation inside of yourself that it's a lot easier to have empathy for other people, to show up in ways that are sustainable and true to you, with and for others, for the world, not out of a sense of altruism, per se, but because it's the right thing.
It's easier to live in your own skin. Your life becomes more joyous and more aligned. And the truth of the matter—you're not going to always be happy. You're not going to always be thriving or abundant. That's not really how life works for humans. But when you encounter problems, those problems can help you to become more whole. They can help you to learn and grow and evolve—or not.
So, again, this month, this week, align with your choice. Align with your agency. And that invariably means check in with your boundaries. Make sure that you are navigating your boundaries in a healthy and accountable adult-ass way because your boundaries are yours alone to hold. Rules are things you enforce on other people. Maybe you enforce them on yourself as well, but boundaries take awareness, and then they're self-managed. They're self-administered.
Now, this is stuff that I'm unpacking and going deeper into over on my Patreon. So you can always join me there if you want to go deeper with me. And also, if you want to get a peek at the month-ahead forecast for December of 2925, it's available on my Patreon. I believe you can subscribe to it elsewhere, as well, so you can check out the bonus episode of Ghost wherever you listen to podcasts.
All right. Let's dive into this week's horoscope. So the first exact transit of the week happens on Sunday, the 30th of November, the last day of November. And we have a very anaretic Venus, which means 29 degrees of Scorpio, forming a trine to Neptune at the same degrees of Pisces. And so, first and foremost, we're dealing with Venus and Neptune, the planet of values and the planet of ideals, the planet of romance and the planet of high romance forming a lovely trine to each other.
This can indicate that you feel more amorous, more empathetic, more compassionate. It can indicate that you feel more open and willing to connect with people romantically. It can also, if you have a tendency to do this anyways, find you putting others on a pedestal or idealizing certain situations and people. So you want to be and the lookout for that little bit. It's not a major risk, but it's something to be aware of.
Venus trine to Neptune is a transit that empowers you to care and to care not for personal gain, not for pride, but because you care. So you may find yourself called to get engaged in mutual aid or some sort of humanitarian efforts and work and to connect with people who share your values. This is a fantastic transit for that. You may find yourself wanting to just be chill on the couch and kanoodle with someone you care about. Maybe that someone is you. Maybe that someone is your partner, a crush, a bestie.
This is a great time for leaning into affection, leaning into care. And it's not a super industrious transit, but you know what? Not everything is or should be about industry. It's about recovery and care and nurturance and support. So lean into this transit to the best of your ability because it's a lovely one.
Last thing I can say is, if you're an artist, this is a great time for getting inspiration, connecting with your muse, and just playing with your craft, not going in with a major goal but instead exploring your craft. If you're not an artist but you're really inspired by the arts, again, play the music. Watch the film. Take in the art—whatever it is—because Venus trine to Neptune can be really fortifying, and it is in particular fortifying if you put yourself in the presence of beauty, whether it's art or nature or spirituality.
That brings us to December. On Tuesday, December the 2nd, we have another lovely Venus transit. Venus will be at almost 2 degrees of Sagittarius, forming an exact sextile to Pluto at the same degrees of Aquarius. Venus sextile to Pluto is dynamic. It's exciting. It's a great transit for flirting. It's a great transit for hooking up. It's a great transit for making purchases that are a good investment. So, for some people, a good investment is about investing. And for other people, a good investment is buying a pair of shoes that are going to last you a really long time, so it's about investing in yourself.
This transit is a lovely one to have kind of overlap with that Venus trine to Neptune because Venus, again, is your values, and Pluto deepens your capacity. So this is a great transit for acting on your values, deepening your relationship to your values or your understanding of them, talking about them with other people, connecting with other people in experience because Venus is in Sagittarius, which is such an experiential zodiac sign, so connecting with people based on experience to act in ways that reflect your values. So political action, social action, creativity, hooking up, flirting—all these things are well starred under this transit. It's a lovely transit.
You may find your feelings are deepened on or around this date, and those feelings are deepened for someone. This can be a great transit for therapy, working on your self-worth. This is a great transit for allowing yourself to feel love and be loved. Again, this is a fantastic transit and one you should definitely tap into. You may want to pay attention to where about 2 degrees of Sagittarius and 2 degrees of Aquarius falls in your birth chart to get a better sense of how it's going to impact you directly.
And that, my friends, brings us to the Full Moon. On Thursday, December the 4th, there will be a Full Moon in Gemini. It will be exact at 3:14 p.m. Pacific Time. There is a video version of this podcast. It's available either on the public, free page of my Patreon or on YouTube. The link is in the episode description. And you can look at the chart with me. Let's pull it up now.
All right. If you are looking along at the video version of this forecast, I just want to remind you that when we pull up a chart for a Full Moon or a New Moon, regardless of whether or not I've cast this chart for where you physically are in the world, we pay no attention to the houses or the angles. So, while you'll see activity there, we pay no attention to that for the purposes of understanding this Full Moon.
Okay. So, as we look at a Full Moon in Gemini, we understand that the tension that exists between a Moon in Gemini and the Sun in Sagittarius is the tension between the details and the big picture, Gemini being the details and Sagittarius being the big picture. It's also about your approach versus your ethos. Your approach would be Mercury, and your ethos is Sagittarius. This is a good reminder. This is our last Full Moon of 2025, and it's a good reminder for you to consider, have you been approaching your relationships, your self-care, your engagement with the world around you—your work, whatever it is—your health—have you been approaching these things that matter so much to you in ways that reflect your ethos? And when I say "ethos," I mean your philosophies, your beliefs. Or have you been doing so in a way that is immediately convenient, that reflects what the people around you are doing?
A Full Moon in Gemini is meant to confront you with ways that you feel off about how you have been conducting yourself. That's the point of the Full Moon, right? This is why Full Moons are so noticeable, because they feel really intense and they bring shit to the surface. When things come to the surface, it's not harm to you. It's not to just ruin your damn day. It's so that you become more aware, and you can pair that awareness with adaptation, changes in action. You can grow. You can evolve.
And we know that Mercury is the ruling planet to Gemini. So, if we take a peek at what Mercury is doing in this chart, we can see that it is sitting in Scorpio. It is thankfully not Retrograde anymore. And it's part of a Grand Trine between Saturn and Neptune in Pisces that are sitting real close to each other and Jupiter in Cancer. And what this speaks to is how there is so much energy supporting you right now and supporting all of us in cultivating greater awareness of not just what's happening but how we feel about what's happening.
Now, that Saturn/Neptune conjunction is really a pain in the ass because it makes it really difficult to know what's real, what's true. We are living in this unprecedented moment where we are participating and consenting to our own surveillance, where we don't know if we can believe our eyes with what we see online because of this rapid development of AI that we are not prepared for. I mean, none of us are. We are living through a time where we are pretending that the COVID pandemic is no longer a pandemic, where we have to kind of check out in order to stay living our lives. It takes a lot of effort and energy to navigate reality while not confronting reality. But when Neptune and Saturn meet up the way they are, oof, that's a lot of what we're doing.
And right now, with this trine between Jupiter, Mercury, and those two planets, there's a great deal of energy to cultivate your awareness of how that's hitting you—how that's hitting you psychologically and emotionally, how it's impacting you spiritually, and then how it's affecting your behavior.
Now, because it's a Full Moon in Gemini, emotions are going to rise to the surface. So that might be that you're really emotional and you snap or you do something. It might be that somebody else is emotional, and they spontaneously act or react in ways that shift the conversation, that shift your circumstances. The truth of the matter is we are being challenged to hold an "and also." A thing can be true, and also, a contradicting truth may be present at the same time.
Paradox is real. Sometimes life and truth is linear and factual, and that's it. And sometimes it's fucking messy. This Full Moon, like most Full Moons, is likely to be a little bit messy. And if you can hold that messiness and that complexity without having to bury your head in the sand or get really rigid, without having to pretend that everything is lovely when it's not or catastrophize—if you can hold that delicate balance, then you are experiencing the best parts of this Full Moon.
One more thing I want to point out about this Full Moon chart is that Mars is forming a square to Saturn. It's still a little bit wide to Neptune, but it is definitely forming a square to Saturn. And this intensifies feelings of frustration and consequences for your actions or your lack of actions. Now, again, I want to point you towards your agency. What you do and what you don't do is a reflection on you. And listen. You cannot be perfect, nor should you strive to be any more than you should demand that other people are perfect. But at the same time, the frustrations that you encounter, the difficulties that you may have to deal with, are an indication of what needs more attention, information, care, and development from you or in the world.
And so, if you do struggle this Full Moon, I want to invite you to be interested in that struggle instead of just react to the struggle. I want to invite you to be kind to yourself and others as you figure out what's actually going on and the best ways of handling it. A Full Moon in Gemini can be really adaptable. Gemini is super adaptable. But you have to be willing to change. And being adaptable and being scattered are not the same thing. Scattered—it is without intention. Adaptability is a willingness to change and to perceive things from a new angle paired with intention. So make sure you're being as intentional as you can this Full Moon to make the most of its energies.
All right. That brings us to Friday, December the 5th. And the next exact transit that we have is a Mars trine to Chiron. Mars will be at almost 23 degrees of Sagittarius, forming an exact trine to Chiron at the same degrees of Aries. This will be exact at 2:04 p.m. Pacific Time. Okay. So Mars trine Chiron is a lovely transit, and it's further strengthened by the fact that Chiron is in Aries. And Aries is the zodiac sign that is ruled by Mars.
Mars trine to Chiron is a transit that is empowering, but it's not empowering without any caveats. It empowers you to be in your body in ways that are often really challenging, intimidating, or uncomfortable. It empowers you to be brave and to try things that you're intimidated by or scared around. Chiron is always associated with parts of yourself that you struggle to feel good about, that you struggle to feel empowered around.
And when Mars forms a trine to Chiron, there's energy there to support you in mobilizing, to develop your ego in a healthy way. And I know I've said it before, but I'll say it a million times. Egos are not inherently a bad thing. What we want as humans is healthy and well-balanced egos because when your ego is too small or too big, both things can become pretty big problems. We want healthy parts, not to submerge the parts.
This transit can be a time where you mobilize on all beliefs that you hold about your body, your place in the world, your capacity, like what you're capable of, and you move through them. And this thing about mobility and moving—I'm talking about something quite physical. And that physicality—I guess it could be energetically physical, or it could be literally something you do, whether it's with your body or something you do in the world.
This transit is a good one for doing something that you believe in, for not letting your ego or your insecurities hold you back, for meeting your body. In fact, it's a great time for fornicating, for playing sports, for dancing your butt off. It's a good time for getting into your body and enjoying it, whether that's a solo thing or a partner thing or a group thing. It's all good. It's about making sure that you're doing it from a place of empowerment instead of a place of abandoning yourself or thinking you don't deserve to have fun.
This transit can coincide with shifts in your ego that are really subtle or pretty intense and dramatic. And I want to remind you now and forever that progress is progress, and you don't need to have major progress in order for your little bits of progress to be major because all big shifts have a lot of little shifts behind them. All big successes have a trail of failures and missed opportunities and missteps behind it. That's just how things go.
Don't be so focused on the way things look right now that you miss out on the process of how you are meeting this moment, of how you're showing up for it, and how you live in your body, because—make no mistake—this transit has a lot to do with you in your body, how you show up in it, how you tend to it, and how you are willing or able to be present within it.
And that brings us to the final transit of this week. On Saturday, December the 6th, at exactly 5:05 a.m. Pacific Time, Mercury at around 24 degrees of Scorpio forms an exact trine to Jupiter. So that's the transit I was speaking to in the Full Moon chart. Okay. So Mercury trine Jupiter is a lovely transit. It is a great time for learning something new, for really, actually really listening to other people, to learning from what you listen to.
Mercury is the details; Jupiter is the big picture. And so it's a great time for making plans, for synthesizing data you have been collecting. It can be a transit where you gossip and you just kind of talk shit, and that can be fun as long as it's not mean-spirited, because as much as we enjoy a little bit of shit talk, the truth is nobody wants shit talked about them. So practice empathy, kindness, and integrity to the best of your ability, my friends, I implore you.
Okay. Mercury trine Jupiter is a great time for being optimistic, for seeing the potential in a situation, having a more broad-minded view. And because of that, it's a great time for socializing, for making friends, for talking to people, for putting yourself out there. It's also a good time for exploring the possibilities in a situation, so whether that's in terms of making plans or it's in terms of envisioning what you want to manifest for yourself—whatever it is, this is a good transit for pairing the details and the big picture and coming together with the two.
Another thing about this transit is that it is a very welcome one to have right after a Mercury Retrograde. And this is because it's a great time for signing contracts, any kind of legal shit that you might have to deal with, and basically looking over agreements and communications. So, whatever shit was messy during the Mercury Retrograde, this is a great time to tidy it up or at least to review it and figure out what needs tidying up, okay?
And that, my friends, is your horoscope. I'm going to run through the transits one more time for you. On the 30th, Venus is exactly trine to Neptune. On the 2nd of December, Venus is exactly sextile to Pluto. We have a Full Moon in Gemini on the 4th. Mars is trine to Chiron on the 5th. And then Mercury forms an exact trine to Jupiter on the 6th.
I want to thank you so very much for joining me this week and every week for Ghost of a Podcast. As always, I invite you to send in your questions to get a reading with me on the podcast. And if you like the show, make sure that you are subscribed and you review it. Give a little love. I always really appreciate it.
