Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm your host, Jessica Lanyadoo. I'm an astrologer, psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm going to give you your weekly horoscope and no-bullshit mystical advice for living your very best life.

Welcome back to Ghost of a Podcast. This week, we're looking at the astrology of November 16th through the 22nd of 2025. And there's a lot going on astrologically. There's a ton of transits for us to get through. A lot of them are really positive, supportive. They encourage the fluid and effective movement of events or energies. This is great, right?

It's important to remember that when we go through benefic transits, as they are called, or easy, supportive transits, there's nothing pushing you. You are required to either create momentum or the momentum that you've already got going in your life, or the momentum that we already have going in the world is furthered along.

Astrology doesn't say anything. Individual astrologers interpret the big picture of what we're seeing, and we make sense of it to the best of our ability. And this accounts for why different astrologers will look at the same thing and have a different take. I want to encourage you to use this week's astrology to help you to create or propel momentum and progress in your life. And within that, strive to help somebody, to help something this week. And also strive to help yourself. Strive to act in ways that promote progress in your life, in something inside of you.

The astrology of this week is kind of all about that, and not just because we have a New Moon, which we do. But you'll see there's a lot of forward-momentum, progress-facilitating transits at play. If there's something challenging that you need to confront in yourself, in the world, in your life, in a relationship—whatever it may be—this is a good week for doing that because it will not necessarily be easier, but you are more likely to have access to your resources or remember to actually use the tools in your toolbox. And listen. We all have tools. But when we need them is when we're most likely to forget that we even have them.

So remember. Remember the tools you have collected, the wisdom you have accrued. Remember the people in your life that are there for you. And remember that you are somebody who can be there for someone else. Listen to people. Show up for people. A little act of kindness to a stranger can change the trajectory of their day, their week, their life, and that can have untold consequences on the people they touch. A little bit of kindness can go a really long way. So strive to use that medicine for yourself and others.

Okay. Let's dive into this week's forecast. All right. So the first exact transit of this week occurs on Sunday, November the 16th, at exactly 9:08 p.m. Pacific Time. We've got the Sun at 25 degrees of Scorpio and 6 minutes forming an exact trine to Jupiter at the same degrees of Cancer. This trine is absolutely lovely. It suggests that there is a great emotional flow in the air. So what do I mean by emotional flow? I mean you are capable of working through the emotional or felt components of your ideas, of your plans, of your hopes, of the things you're engaged in. And the emotional component, the felt experience, is hugely important.

This transit suggests the potential for growth. Now, it's important to keep in mind that growth is not inherently good or bad. Not every growth is a good thing. When we experience a Sun trine to Jupiter like we're doing here and now, we want to be able to explore what we want to have grow. What do you want to grow in your life? Would expansion serve your plans, serve your hopes and intentions, or is the best way to grow to pull back, to temper yourself or moderate yourself a bit?

A lot of times, in conventional astrology, we talk about Jupiter and we're just like, "Go, go, go." But that's how you develop a gambling problem—the jurisdiction of Jupiter, by the way. The Sun trine to Jupiter is an opportunity for you to learn something, and to learn something about yourself, about who you are, about how you show up, about how you hold things. And the only way to do that is with intention. It's with the intention to learn and to grow. And in particular, this is a transit that is asking you and me to grow through our felt experience, to be kind and not to be without boundaries.

This is a fucking fantastic transit, and it is one to tap into, especially if you have something at around 25 degrees of a cardinal or fixed sign or a water sign. So the water signs are Scorpio, Cancer, Pisces. The cardinal signs are Cancer, Capricorn, Libra, and Aries. And then the fixed signs are Scorpio, Leo, Taurus, and Aquarius.

Okay. The next exact transit happens on Monday, the 17th. We have two transits, actually, that are exact that day. At 12:56 a.m., the Sun will be at 25 degrees of Scorpio and 16 minutes—it's moved just a little bit—and it's forming an exact trine to Saturn at the same degrees of Pisces. This is a lovely transit I will unpack in a moment. Later that afternoon, at 12:36 p.m. Pacific Time, we've got a Mercury sextile to Pluto with Mercury at 1 degree of Sagittarius and 39 minutes—let us not forget it is Retrograde—forming an exact sextile to Pluto. This transit is another lovely transit.

So Sun trine Saturn—the Sun trine to Saturn is a stabilizing transit. While Sun trine Jupiter is overlapping, and it's encouraging you to learn through experience, to grow, and to grow with intention, the Sun trine to Saturn gives you stability. It empowers you to consider what is sustainable. It might be great to drink—I don't know—a green juice every damn day, but is that sustainable? Are you going to make a juice every damn day? I don't know. It's not just about a great idea, although Jupiter loves a great idea. It's about what is sustainable for you, who you are, when you are.

When you cultivate acceptance for yourself, when you give yourself permission to be where you're at, you can grow from that foundation. A lot of people will say that it's not possible to change, that people never really change. I don't fucking buy it. I really believe that we can change, but it requires a lot of really important things that people are uncomfortable with, one of which is starting where you're at, accepting yourself and your circumstances for where they're at, because we can only grow from this grounding. If you plant your seeds in the ground over here, but you water the ground over there instead of over here, well, then you're not going to be growing that seed, not intentionally. And when we have something like Sun trine to Saturn, we have the opportunity to really tend to the things that matter.

This transit is encouraging you to know yourself, to learn something about yourself, or to apply wisdom you've already accrued to something in your life. And that can be your inner life around your mental health, your emotional health, or it could be in a situation, in a way that you show up in the world or with your friends or at work or whatevs. Additionally, that Mercury sextile to Pluto is your friend. This is a fantastic transit. The Mercury sextile to Pluto is an opportunity for you to expand your thinking. So Pluto is about depth, and Mercury is your thinking. This transit indicates that you are meant to either listen really deeply or process through something really deeply. So that might mean you're listening to yourself, like really listen to yourself, or listen to what someone else is trying to tell you.

This can be an excellent transit for research or study, if that's something you are called to do or you have to do. This can also be a great time for therapy, and any kind of therapy. Over on my Patreon, we've been talking a lot lately about how to go deeper into feelings, like how to stay with the feelings when they're hard to feel and how to listen to them, how to listen to yourself instead of trying to rush to fix. Everything about the astrology that I've shared so far is not asking you to fix. It's not asking you to theorize. It's asking you to be present, to engage, to learn, and to apply the wisdom that you already have learned.

It's easy to become like a data collector in life, especially when you fuck with astrology. But if you aren't applying the lessons that you've learned, then it ends up being just a "blah, blah, blah." And listen. "Blah, blah, blah" is fun. "Blah, blah, blah" is interesting. But it doesn't help you when you're having a hard day. It doesn't help you navigate through relationships, when that's really what you need. And in this increasingly frightening world, it doesn't help you to be more brave, better aligned with your humanity. And that's what's needed now. Be brave enough to hear bad news. Be brave enough to participate in the world in ways that protect the most vulnerable, that express your values, not just as a theoretical thing but as a lifestyle choice. You know what I'm saying?

Okay. There's nothing negative to say about any of these three transits. These are all wonderful transits. If you are connecting to other people, this couple of days is just really great. It's great for having heartfelt, kind, and meaningful connections with others—I mean, again, no notes. It's wonderful.

And that brings us to Wednesday, the 19th. On Wednesday, November 19th, we've got a New Moon in Scorpio, a Mercury opposition to Uranus, and a Mercury trine to Neptune. Now, if you're looking along with me on the video version of this podcast available over on YouTube and shared to the public page of my Patreon, then you'll be able to look along at the chart of the New Moon with me. But before we get into that chart, I want to speak to this damn busy Mercury Retrograde.

So, again, Mercury Retrograde, just on its own, is a transit. And that transit is trying to get you to reflect, to review, to not move so boldly forward fast that you miss out on the details. It's an annoying transit. Do I love it? I don't love it, but it has its use. It's a good time for reflection. And so much of the time, with Mercury or in the busyness of life, we're just coming up with ideas and responding to things and acting and reacting and speaking and barely listening. Mercury Retrograde wants you to slow down and listen. It wants you to reflect on what you said, how you listened. It wants you to learn as you go, and not just go, go, go, go, go, which is really hard for a lot of us.

Mercury Retrograde can even be a time of rest—I mean, not this week. Not this week, but in general, Mercury Retrograde can be a time of rest. This week, we gotta deal with Mercury opposition to Uranus. Now, Mercury opposite Uranus is an upsetting transit. Upsetting doesn't mean bad. I mean, some people hear "upsetting," and they think, "Oh shit. That's bad." It's not bad. It's just upsets. You expect to get there in a half hour, and there's traffic, and you're there in 45 minutes. You thought your friend was going to show up and you guys were going to have a really light and easy day, but instead, they talk your ear off for a full hour before you can even get a word in edgewise.

Plans change. Things don't go according to your expectations. You are required to adapt when Mercury is opposite Uranus. Mercury is your mind, and Uranus is your nervous system. So, if you've been listening to the podcast for long enough, you might remember that whenever Mercury is conjunct, square, or opposite Uranus, I want to just kind of ring the bell to remind you that this can be a time of great nervous tension, especially depending on how it hits your birth chart and what your nature is.

Mercury will be at 29 degrees and 32 minutes of Scorpio—a little Retrograde messiness, right, because it's moved from Sadge back into Scorpio. That happened on Tuesday, the 18th. And it's sitting opposite to Uranus at that very anaretic degree of Taurus. So we are dealing with tensions in relationships because Mercury is your friendships, and Uranus is your community. We are looking at tensions in your relationships around values, maybe around belonging, around what is fair and what is not fair.

Again, over on my Patreon, back on October 29th, I did a live about this particular transit—and you can find it there; it's still published—where I unpack Mercury and Uranus and the ways in which they function. Here's the thing. Whatever it was that was going on in your mind, in your nervous system, in your friendships, in the world around October 29th, the last time Mercury was opposite Uranus, it's likely to be reiterated on and around this date. And it's particularly potent because it's also a New Moon in Scorpio.

And so you might want to reflect on what was going on there. And that doesn't mean if you fought with your neighbor on that day, you're going to fight with your neighbor again. But it does mean that the themes that were activated inside of you—in your thinking, in your defenses, in how you listen and how you communicate—all that kind of shit—that's what's getting activated again. So be mindful. Be open. That's what Uranus wants. Uranus wants us to be open to experiencing things from a new position, to adapt, to find the potential in a situation. So look for the potential.

This transit can coincide with accidents. So Mercury is your bicycle, and it's walking. It can be a wheelchair. It's getting around locally. And then Uranus is unexpected things, so it can lead to accidents. So, if you're feeling particularly agitated or activated, pay attention. If your Spidey senses are telling you something's off, listen. Pay attention.

The other thing is this transit can trigger arguments. It can trigger disagreements, flared tempers. Uranus is the flare. And that flare is likely to be based on us having different ideas, different opinions, or being kind of more committed to different approaches. It doesn't have to turn into an ego battle. But truthfully, not all fights are a bad thing. Sometimes the best possible thing you can do is let something come to the surface so you can work it out. But this is only true if you are engaged in arguments of good faith where you are actually listening to the other person, and you're striving to find ways of communicating your perspective authentically, honestly. This is hard because when we're really upset, oftentimes, we don't listen. Oftentimes, we just get things off our chest, or we try to make our ideas more palatable to the other person.

When you're not focused on being authentic in what you say and how you say it in tandem with considering how what you're saying is affecting the other person—so, again, being diplomatic—then we get into trouble. And luckily, Mercury Retrograde at 30 degrees—so 29 Scorpio and 30 degrees, so just a little tick later at 4:22 a.m. Pacific Time—forms an exact trine to Neptune. This transit increases empathy, increases your willingness and ability to listen to other people, to meet people in an authentic middle ground. And middle ground is not a middle point; it's a ground. It's a space.

Mercury trine to Neptune intensifies your sensitivities, your willingness to really listen and to care about other people's perspectives. This transit can increase intuitive or psychic sensitivities. But the Mercury opposition to Uranus means that you're not likely to really be able to make sense of what you intuit, at least not now. So don't be conclusive. Don't be conclusive. Also, try not to be conclusive. Okay?

This is Mercury Retrograde. So, inevitably, you are being asked to be reflective. You are being asked to be introspective and to allow room for miscommunications and misunderstandings, allow room for people around you to not have it all buttoned up. We can't all have it all buttoned up all the damn time. You know what I mean.

And let's not forget this is all happening during the New Moon. The New Moon will be exact at 10:47 p.m. Pacific Time, with the Sun at 28 degrees of Scorpio and 12 minutes and the Moon at the exact same place. So the Sun and Moon being at 28 degrees of Scorpio with Mercury at 29 degrees—we know immediately that this is going to be big news and that these transits I've just told you about are centerpiece of our New Moon. Let's look at the chart.

Okay. So November 19th, at 10:47 p.m. Pacific Time, we have our New Moon in Scorpio, with the Sun and Moon at 28 degrees of Scorpio. Mercury is also at 28 degrees. These three planets are all opposite to Uranus at 29 degrees and 29 minutes of Taurus. So all of this Scorpio energy straight out the gate is a little dramatic, a little intense. And this does not need to be a bad thing. I know a lot of people have a negative association with intense or dramatic emotions. But the truth of the matter is life is intense. Your feelings are allowed to be intense. In fact, the more intense your emotions are, the more deeply you feel things, the richer your life can be.

The key is to not get distracted by what I call scab emotions. Scab emotions are like resentment, pettiness, irritability, sometimes anger. The reason why I think of them as scab emotions is because they're the feelings that you feel that are covering up what's really going on inside. And with a Scorpio Moon, what's really going on inside may be that you feel vulnerable, that you feel a deep yearning, that your feelings are in some meaningful way pretty damn intense. And it's easier to feel a scab emotion, like irritability or pettiness—focusing on someone else—than dealing with your own deep emotions, your own deep feelings.

Because Mercury is here, it would be very tempting to weave narratives out of emotions before sitting with said emotions. But that's not the assignment. The assignment is to sit with your feelings—to sit with your feelings, to feel your feelings, and to be aware of what your mind does. Being aware of what your mind does is really different than weaving a narrative about what your mind does. Your awareness of your thoughts is different than just tripling down on your thoughts. So strive to understand that. Strive to notice that.

Uranus opposite the Sun, Moon, and Mercury, can be very upsetting. I mean, as I said about the Mercury/Uranus opposition, it can bring about upsets and drama and difficulties and all that kind of stuff. But it can also empower you to grow and to change. We hear about mindfulness all the damn time, and mindfulness is a term that's often used in conversations about meditation.

The Uranus opposition to this little Scorpio stellium of energy will bring with it the opportunity for you to adapt, and that adaptation can help you to become more mindful of your own mind, more present with your own felt experience in the here and now. This isn't supposed to be easy. This isn't supposed to be chill. You don't always have to be easygoing. You can have heavy emotions. You can feel fear. Fear is not a bad thing inherently. I know. I know we don't want to be scared all the time. We don't want to be scared of things that we don't need to be scared of. But having the capacity to feel your fears empowers you to sort through your fears. "What of my fears is just anxiety? What of my fears is an attachment to the way things used to be? What of my fears is a healthy instinct alerting me to danger?"

If you can't tolerate your intense or challenging or confronting emotions, then how can you learn from them? How can you make sense of them? How can you bring them into the present moment? Because a lot of times, what we feel, which—Moon transits are all about feelings. A lot of times, what we feel is really like a smorgasbord of what's happening now and what happened in the past.

Getting present means you can bring all your adult parts online, and you can make informed choices, informed decisions, take informed approaches to what's happening, what isn't happening, how you're feeling, what you're needing, because sometimes something wonderful happens and you cry. Sometimes you're on the precipice of getting what you've always wanted, and you're scared. Emotions aren't linear. They don't always make sense. Cultivating the ability and the willingness to hang out with them empowers you to make use of them, to make sense of them, to be kind to yourself, and to engage with other people and the world in ways that are sustainable and authentic. It's kind of the name of the game.

Now, again, Scorpio Moon is going to be intense. But New Moons are always an invitation to plant seeds, to be intentional, to set your mind, to set your heart, to set yourself on a path. And that path may be—I don't know—grind your teeth less. It may be doomscroll less. It may be respond to texts quicker. I don't fucking know. It could be anything. It could be big. It could be small. But being intentional about how you show up for this moment—that's the assignment. Don't get hung up on the details.

It's not just a New Moon in Scorpio; Mercury Retrograde is sitting on top of it. So make no mistake: no matter what happens—and things may happen because Uranus is opposite the Sun, Moon, and Mercury. Things may really happen, come out of left field, be really surprising, be really explosive. But it's a time for reflection. You may feel that you have to respond right away. Do you, though? Do you, though? Do you though? You might, but you really might not. Mercury Retrograde wants you to reflect, so take a beat. Feel your feels. Check in with your mind. Reflect.

Another thing I want to say about this New Moon chart is that the Sun is sandwiched in between the Moon and Mercury. The Sun is your identity and your sense of self. Mercury is your ideas. It's how you listen, how you communicate. And the Moon is your feelings. It's your emotions. It's your needs and your memories. And having the Sun sandwiched in there is a reminder to center yourself. And that might mean, depending on your nature and your situation, prioritize yourself. It might mean, depending on your nature and your situation, to, instead of prioritizing yourself, literally centering your energies, getting grounded, getting centered—that kind of thing.

Whatever it is, you deserve to live your life in a way that is aligned with what you believe, not just to appease others or make peace. Sometimes the best way to make peace is by shaking shit up. Sometimes the healthiest way to be in a relationship is to show up as you truly are instead of as how you've been, knowing full well that that's going to make waves. Not all waves are bad. Not all changes are bad. Not all drama is bad.

So do your best to be empathetic, to be open, to be adaptable, and within it all, to be authentic, to be centered. Whenever you lose your center, that's an opportunity to bring mindfulness: "Oh shit. Look at me. I lost my center." Come on back. Where is the center? Keep on coming back. That's the damn assignment.

That brings us to Thursday, November 20th. And on Thursday, November 20th, there's more. There's two more exact transits. It's a busy week. The Sun will be exactly conjoined to Mercury Retrograde at 1:23 a.m. on Thursday—that's Pacific Time—with the Sun at 28 degrees of Scorpio and 18 minutes, Mercury exact same degrees of the same sign. Later that morning, Uranus will be exactly sextile to Neptune, with Uranus at 29 degrees of Taurus and 29 minutes forming a sextile to Neptune at the same degrees of Pisces.

Now, let's start with the Mercury conjunction to the Sun. This transit is a really great one for introspection, self-reflection, therapy. Sun conjunction to Mercury often brings about a lot of busyness, so you may have a lot of emails, a lot of texts. You may run into people. You may just do a lot of errands. It's busyness. It's a lot of busyness.

And so this can be a really fun transit, but again, Mercury is Retrograde. So you want to hold space for misunderstandings and miscommunications and missed schedules and stuff like that. It can be annoying. The other thing is it's in Scorpio. It's in Scorpio, so it's about going deep. It's about having intense feelings. It's about reflecting—because, of course, Mercury is Retrograde—on the ways in which your identity or that you communicate your identity may or may not reflect what's actually happening inside.

Now, Scorpio is a very private zodiac sign, or it can be very private. And this sign can be associated with secrecy. But here's a pitch. We're all entitled to privacy. We are all entitled to secrets. When we hold secrets, we are private in a way that inspires being disingenuous. If it inspires you to lie to other people or mislead other people or even to lie to yourself, that's a fucking problem.

But the Sun conjunction to Mercury is an invitation to reflect on where your secrets are and whether or not you are guarding those secrets in a healthy and self-loving away. Again, you're allowed to have secrets. You can have your privacy. Have your privacy. And also, there are ways of doing all those things that are shady, that are outside of your ethics, that cause harm to yourself or to others. And those are the things that you want to use this Mercury Retrograde reflection period to be like, "Oh shit. Awareness is the first step to change." And change is always possible if you're willing to do the work.

Now, the other major transit that's happening on this day is between two outer planets. And when we have transits to two outer planets, you really want to pay attention because it indicates shifts in the collective, shifts in society. So Uranus sextile to Neptune—I think the internet is probably going to be rich with people promising you some sort of spiritual awakening. That's unlikely to happen under this transit unless it's hitting your birth chart in a meaningful way directly, and then it can have to do with that.

But when Uranus and Neptune sit at 60 degrees away from each other—a.k.a. they form a sextile—there can be spiritual sparks. So what does even spiritual mean? Literally, what is spiritual? For some people, spiritual means a connection to Universe or God, a connection to a higher power. For other people, spiritual is something that happens when they're in nature or when they're making art or they're listening to music or having sex. Spiritual can show up in a lot of different ways at different moments in your life and for different people.

There's not just one way of experiencing one's spirituality. But spirituality is kind of, in its essence, about experiencing something larger than yourself that is somehow faith-based. You can't exactly prove it. It's not material. So being inspired by a sunset—I mean, a sunset is a sunset. You can see a sunset. We all agree, "Look, the sun is setting." But that spiritual experience you have with a beautiful sunset—it's not quantifiable, exactly. That is the nature of spirituality.

When we have Uranus and Neptune—two very differently but very meaningfully spiritual planets—form a sextile to each other, there can be experiences that spark up, that engage your humanity and your spirituality. This is an iteration of this idea that to be humane to others is to be able to tap into and really believe in their value and worth, whether you like them or not, whether you know them or not.

This transit can be excellent for community-building and mutual aid, not because it motivates you to participate in these things in a linear way but instead because this transit engages and activates your humanity and the humanity of others. Uranus is very much related to community and community-building, groups of people. And Neptune is very much related to the concept—it's the governor of the concept—that we are all one, that we are all cousins, that we are interconnected, and our welfare is woven together.

When these two planets come together in this way, we can meet up with other people from that place. And this is where movements can thrive. They can be built. They can take a new shape. They can just mobilize. Uranus is related to the future and to progress. This is a great transit for facilitating progress that is humane, that brings other people together. And in particular, with Uranus, it's not just everyone who looks like you or votes like you or loves like you. It's diverse coalitions, diverse connections, which is kind of exciting.

And as always, it is my responsibility to acknowledge that what you consider to be progress I might consider to be a step back and that astrology and spirituality does not follow any one person's ideas. I know that a lot of people think, "Okay. My spiritual convictions are the way that the Universe works, and they are the arbiter of good and evil." And I think that's complicated. I think it's great to hold humility about how much we don't know in a universe as big as the one that we exist in. If you just think about how vast your own internal universe is, the weird and magic of your body and its functions, the weird and magic of your psyche and its functions, conscious and unconscious—if we just think about that, we can get lost.

So, when we really consider so much of what's happening in the world, it can be overwhelming. It can be affirming. It depends on how you look at it and who you are and when you are. That said, this transit is an invitation to come together with your humanity, to come together and take care of each other because we care about each other, regardless of what's happening, regardless of whether you feel like there's enough progress or things are perfect or not. This is not the time for perfection. It's the time for progress. So be a part of it. Participate. Do your best. Don't do perfect. Make mistakes, because at least if you're making mistakes, you're trying.

And when you experience somebody else doing something and you're like, "Ick. That person's making a mistake. I don't like the way they're doing it. I don't like the way they're trying," catch yourself. See if that's necessary or if you can apply a little bit more humanity, a little bit more grace, to your willingness to let other people be different, to be in a different place, and to be on a path towards progress, hopefully, hopefully, hopefully.

Okay. Now, if you thought that was it, it's not. There's more. On Friday, November 21st, we have two more transits—so many transits this week. Okay. The Sun will be exactly opposite Uranus with the Sun at 29 degrees of Scorpio and Uranus at 29 degrees of Taurus. This is exact at 4:25 a.m. Pacific Time. At 5:05 a.m. Pacific Time, the Sun is exactly trine to Neptune. The Sun will be at 29 degrees of Scorpio and 29 minutes. This makes sense because Uranus and Neptune were sextile yesterday at the exact same degrees, and now the Sun is joining the damn party.

Now, first, let me pull back and point something out. We are having a lot of activity at the anaretic degrees of Scorpio and Taurus this week. Anaretic degrees—28, 29—some people just say 29—are just basically like peak energies of that zodiac sign. And so, when we're looking at something like Scorpio, Scorpio is very much about depth. Scorpionic energies—and we're not talking about people who have the Sun in Scorpio; we're talking about the energies of the zodiac sign of Scorpio. That energy is very much about the deepest depths. It's like the undertow of the ocean. It's deeply emotional. It's under the surface, and it's roiling, never quite at rest. It's deep.

And because of that, it's the part of the zodiac that a lot of us have a hard time hanging out in because it's intense. With the world as unstable as it is, with things being as frightening as they are in many facets of life, we are all dealing with Scorpionic feelings. And where this falls in your birth chart is interesting. It's worth looking at. Where do you have 29 degrees of Scorpio?

The assignment, with this week being so anaretic Scorpio, is to be willing to feel the depth of your emotions. Pluto, which is the ruling planet to Scorpio, governs our survival mechanisms. So you can kind of see that energy in the vibes of Scorpio. It's our survival mechanisms. How do you engage mentally, emotionally, behaviorally when you feel threatened? Whether those threats are real or not is not even the question. How do you engage? This week's astrology is absolutely meant to activate your awareness about that.

Now, peak Taurus energies, anaretic Taurus energies, again, are activated this week. And so I want to kind of ground you into Taurus is the meaty, earthy part of Venus because it co-rules Venus and Libra. Libra is an air sign. And so the Taurean side of Venus is going to be more materialistic. This is our material values, the value you hold and practice in yourself, in your relationships, in the world. This can be related to the economy. This can be related to your personal finances. But really, it's about how you meet the moment, understanding that the moment includes, inevitably, your senses.

Taurus is very much related to sense impressions, so people associate Taurus with being sensual. And yes, for sure, but not exclusively that. It's also about your senses in general, how you feel in your own skin, the way you react to smells, the way you engage with all of your senses, Spidey and otherwise. And of course, Scorpio and Taurus are both related to sexuality and sensuality, the experience of those things as well as the expression. So that may be activated in you during this week's astrology in general.

Now, back to Friday, the 21st. On Friday, the 21st, the Sun is opposite Uranus. This creates upsets. It kicks up the unexpected. It puts you in a state of, depending on your nature, feeling really anxious, feeling really on edge or overstimulated, or excited, open, willing to try new things. A lot of times, when this transit occurs, something comes out of left field, or things move so quickly, you're, again, being pushed to adapt. That's Uranus's whole move, right?

And so the Sun opposite Uranus—you can expect things to not go according to plans. So be adaptable. Strive to meet the moment with curiosity because if you're curious, then you can kind of sit with, "Okay. Things are going sideways. Am I supposed to pivot, adapt, or be more curious about why I'm attached to things going the way they are and learn something about myself, about the situation—whatevs?"

Sun opposite Uranus is a disruptive transit. Again, you can be a little accident-prone, so pay attention to that. You may be a little reactive, or other people might be reactive. Try not to take it too personal, especially if people are sharp, because Uranus is the nervous system. And so, when people's nervous systems get activated, they can react kind of sharply or in ways that are awkward.

The opportunity with this transit is that something new happens, something new comes into your life that you find a way to show up and engage with yourself, the world—whatevs—that are new, that facilitate progress. Again, Uranus is related to the future. So it's about progress. And if that means participating in community in a way that facilitates progress, amazing. And if it's something else, awesome. You don't need it to be any one thing. In fact, Uranus is going to laugh at you if you try to say, "Oh, this is what I'm going to make it be."

The whole point is to be open and to see what comes. And sometimes, when transits like this occur, something really big comes and it's obvious. And sometimes it's really subtle, and it's easy to miss. Either way, you have the opportunity to feel deeply and respond to things that you weren't expecting or planning for in aligned and authentic ways so you can adapt without losing your connection to your values or to what you need in order to navigate your survival mechanisms in a healthy and sustainable way.

Having that Sun trine to Neptune overlap is fantastic because this transit is incredibly supportive for connecting with your humanity, for being empathetic and kind towards yourself and others, for tapping into your spiritual resources, for allowing other people to be who they are, when they are, what they are. It's a practice, but this transit supports that practice. This transit of the Sun trine to Neptune can increase your empathy and your care for others and for yourself. So tap in. Make the most of it.

And that brings us to the last day of this horoscope. On November 22nd, which is Saturday, we have two more transits because the horoscope's just giving, giving, giving so much energy. At 10:45 a.m. Pacific Time, we have Mercury at 25 degrees—it's retrograded back, back, back, back, right, so now we're no longer anaretic—25 degrees of Scorpio and 11 minutes, and it's forming an exact trine to Saturn at the same degrees of Pisces. And later that afternoon, at 3:37 p.m. Pacific Time, Mercury will be at 24 degrees of Scorpio and 56 minutes, forming an exact trine to Jupiter.

So, again, these transits—fantastic. Lovely. Nothing to look out for on the negative, just opportunities and support. Wonderful. Mercury, your mind; Saturn, stability. Oh. This transit can stabilize your thinking. Mercury, friendships; Saturn, responsibility. This transit can help you to show up for your friends and within your friendships. This is a great transit for making plans—although Mercury Retrograde kind of mitigates that—because you have a realistic assessment. Mercury trine to Jupiter is also a great transit for making plans because it empowers you to not just consider the details but also the big picture.

These transits together are just ideal, honestly, because whether we look at Mercury from the perspective of how you listen and learn, how you communicate and relate to other people, the plans you make, the neighbors you greet as you walk down the street—they are all supported by trines to Saturn and Jupiter. We're talking about transits that support you in relating to others and the world around you that are sustainable and open. We're talking about strengthening and even empowering with a little bit of playfulness your mental health, your mind.

These transits are all about connecting with other people, learning things, communicating, listening, plan-making—all that kind of good stuff. Mercury is Retrograde, so this means that we want to be really reflective. Mercury is Retrograde here and through next week, and then it's over. This is a shortie, a shortie and a cutie. So what I want to encourage you to do is make the most of it. Reflect. Reflect on your plans. Reflect on your big ideas and how they do or don't match your needs or how they do or don't reflect where you're at.

It's good to dream big, but if you don't have a ladder to climb to the next playing level, then how are you going to get there? You know what I mean? It doesn't have to be a ladder, but you get where I'm going. It's Saturn, so I said ladder. But Jupiter—it could be kind of anything. The point is that when these transits occur—Mercury trine Saturn and Jupiter—you have the opportunity to expand and stabilize your mind. Fucking fantastic, right?

And that, my friends, is your horoscope. This was a lot, and I kind of, like—okay. When I was looking at the astrology of this week, I tried to just pair a keyword for each transit. Let's see if it makes any sense. First, you expand. Then you ground, then explore, then review. Be intentional. Adapt. Empathize. Identify. Listen. Pivot. And relax. That's this week's horoscope. But don't worry. I'm going to run you through the transits because I know it was a lot. And of course, the transcripts are always available on my website.

So, on the 16th, the Sun is exactly trine to Jupiter. On the 17th, the Sun is exactly trine to Saturn, and Mercury is sextile to Pluto. On the 18th, we have Mercury moving back into Scorpio; it retrogrades back into Scorpio. On the 19th, we have a New Moon in Scorpio. Mercury Retrograde sits opposite to Uranus and trine to Neptune. On the 20th, the Sun sits on top of Mercury Retrograde, and Mercury Retrograde sextiles Neptune. And then, on the 21st, the Sun sits opposite Uranus and trine to Neptune. That's this week in astrology.
