Weekly Overview
07.29-08.04.2026
On Wednesday, the 29th of July, we have a Full Moon in Aquarius. The Sun will be conjunct to expansive Jupiter, and it's sitting opposite to a Moon/Pluto conjunction, which is a really emotionally challenging transit. It can activate your pettiness, resentments, insecurities, and your most powerful impulses around survival and healing.
This Full Moon, you are likely to be very easily triggered. You are more likely to be in a compulsive, emotional state, and may find yourself so rattled emotionally that you stop engaging with yourself and others from your wisest parts and start engaging with them from your most defensive, reactive parts. Because of Chiron’s involvement, you will have the chance to meaningfully evolve in your relationship to a core Chironic wound related to self-worth and your values.
I explain the details of this Full Moon and what to do - and not do - about it in episode 648 of my twice weekly show, Ghost of a Podcast, which you can listen to below, or wherever podcasts are heard. If you prefer to read your astrology, I’ve got you covered! Peep the transcript the episode here. And scroll down to find out what this monumental Full Moon will mean for your sign!
If the Full Moon on the 29th triggers some sort of scarcity mindset inside of you, this means that your assignment is to strive to better understand your insecurities and worries. Some of these may be projections or a better reflection of anxiety than your material realities, but some of them may be very pragmatic concerns. Sort through your feelings, realities, and needs so that you can make good decisions this week, Aries.
The Full Moon on the 29th is likely to have you questioning a lot of things, not the least of which is yourself. Do your best to explore what you feel, including your feelings about what you've done or not done, with care instead of to assign or negate blame. It is possible to seek accountability without punishment. This week that is the best approach to take in matters small and large, Taurus.
If you can't sit with your very real emotions about your current situation, you run a serious risk of bumping up against some serious burnout, Twin Star. This week emotions are running high, and sitting with them or taking in the feelings of others will feel very vulnerable. Instead of trying to feel good all the time, do your best to identify the truth and let it help you ground into the here and now. This will empower you to make the best possible choices, Twin Star.
The Full Moon on the 29th is activating for everybody and as a deeply emotional person, you're actually in a good place to rise to the occasion. Do your best to honor your emotions, and even the felt experience of others, in ways that best reflect your value system instead of trying to guess what's going to happen next or fix it on worst case scenarios, Moonchild.
On the 29th, there will be a Full Moon in your relationship house. It may feel like your connections with others are a stress you have to handle, whether you want to or not. Do your best to have healthy boundaries with yourself – that means take accountability for what you do and don’t do, and navigate your thoughts with intention. That will better empower you to have healthy boundaries with others in ways that you need them, Leo.
If you allow your ego to drive your motivations, you are likely to feel pretty bad this week, Virgo. The Full Moon on the 29th brings with it a huge energetic shift that can empower you to heal or to lash out. Practice noticing the difference between empowerment and using power to control or deny things in your daily interactions and within your internal dialogue, especially when you're feeling activated, my friend.
The Full Moon on the 29th in conjunction with the big picture of this astrological moment is inevitably going to rattle relationships. This is not inherently a bad thing, though. Now is the time for you to identify what is and isn't working and to sit with it. You don't need to make major decisions at this time, but the cultivation of awareness and acceptance lays the foundation for being able to cope with things in a healthy way.
It's perfectly reasonable that you're feeling rattled as your ruling planet, Pluto, features heavily in the Full Moon on the 29th. How you cope with feelings of overwhelm, fears around change, and deep concerns for your safety and stability, is being tested. If you react without first sitting with and reflecting on your emotions, you are likely to stir the pot in ways that provoke more problems than they solve this week, Scorpio.
The Full Moon on the 29th is likely to have put you in a pretty intense frame of mind and you may act without enough forethought if you're not careful. Do your best to integrate lessons from your past this week as you move through some pretty triggering terrain. The easiest way of doing this is by slowing down and reflecting on the last time something similar to what you're going through now occurred. You don't need to look outside of yourself for answers. You may only need to look deeper within to understand your patterns and the best ways of moving through them.
You may find yourself dealing with anxiety this week, but you're not alone, thanks to the July 29th Full Moon in Aquarius. This week it's important that you stop looking outside of yourself for answers, and instead strive to connect or reconnect with your foundations. Get real about where you're at and how you got here so that you can assess whether you need to change your mind or your actions, Capricorn.
On the 29th, there will be a Full Moon in your sign and it is a really big deal for you. While you may be dealing with major growth spurts, powerful emotions, and things generally coming to a head, at the end of the day all of this can help you to heal. It's important that you keep in mind that all progress is progress – whether it's big or small. This is not a time for trying to control or contain situations. Show up, ask questions, and stay present when the temperature gets hot, Aquarius.
When you say your peace or express yourself this week, you may find yourself scared that you overdid it, or fixated on how other people are reacting or your projections into their reactions. Focus on your own homework, Pisces. In other words, if somebody has a problem with something you said, trust them to speak to you about it or ask them directly. Rumination will not help your mental health or your relationships this week.
