Love Lanyadoo Astrology 11.26-12.2.2014
In the U.S. we give thanks this week, and that’s a great tradition; gratitude helps to overcome fear, which helps us all to get along. The trick is to be grateful for the right things. Own what’s yours (the good & the bad) with humility, and reflect on the perspectives of the people around you- especially when they’re different than yours. Gratitude lives in acceptance; compassion and consideration promote happiness, my friends.
March 21-April 19
If you’re not nice to yourself then it’ll be super-extra hard to show up for others, Aries. You’re not wired to be a martyr, so leave that kind of emotional game playing to others and own your shit like a champ. You don’t need to take responsibility for all things connected to your actions, but you must acknowledge and own your part in them in order to get peace around them. Lying to yourself will create unnecessary emotional complications this week.
April 20-May 20
If your security and happiness hinges on knowing how things will pan out, you may be having a rough time about now, Taurus. Take a pause and reflect on this past year. Notice how many things looked like they were going a certain direction but turned out totally different than you thought they would. You don’t need to know the future; you only need to participate with calm and integrity in the present, and the rest will reveal itself in it’s own time.
May 21-June 21
No matter how awesome things seem right now, it’s important to not fill in the blanks, Twin Star. This is a great time for starting something new and your energy is wicked strong; yay for you! The trouble is that these reserves of strength may not be indefinitely accessible. If you overextend yourself this week you may create new problems on top of your old problems. So be smart! Act with intention and common sense, even if opportunity tries to seduce you.
June 22-July 22
You need to change what you’re doing, but it’s unclear what exactly to do. Think about the foundations you want to be laying, as opposed to focusing on the destination you want to arrive at. If you’re mapping five steps ahead of where you’re at, you’re more likely to screw up the here and now, Moonchild. Get aligned with your needs and circumstances in the present so that you can change the right stuff, and not just what appears to be standing in your way.
July 23-Aug. 22
You are going in the right direction and even in the right way; it’s only taking much longer than you’d like. The good news is that this isn’t a sign of your imminent failure, but the bad news is that there is no fast-forward button for your progress. Use this time to refine your self and your plans. What can you do to improve yourself if things aren’t going to be perfect immediately? Don’t give up just because things aren’t shifting how you want them to.
Aug. 23-Sept. 22
This week you need to be able to see the difference between your insides and your outsides, Virgo. How you feel is incredibly important, but it isn’t the same as how others perceive you. Make sure you’re not projecting your sense of your self onto your situation. You may be struggling to believe in yourself, but that doesn’t mean that you’re not doing great or that others don’t believe in you. Assert yourself in your relationships and with projects, be damned your worries.
Sept. 23-Oct. 22
Uncertainty is awful for anyone, but for a sign as loathe to make decisions as yours, it’s extra hard. Instead of trying to make the “right” choice, get all spiritual on your options and strive to align with what is most resonant for you. Nothing is gonna seem perfect this week, so go for what will teach you the most, not what’s going to allow you to avoid difficulties, ‘cause that’s not a viable option. Only make sure that your problems are constructive ones, Libra.
Oct. 23-Nov. 21
If you’re able to put your defenses aside and open your heart, how would your relationships be different? You deserve to have the kind of intimacy and care in your life that will yield enduring joyfulness, but that won’t happen if you keep on choosing dynamics with your dick instead of your heart. Don’t settle for short term pleasure and freedom when you can have long term happiness and compatibility, Scorpio. Take risks in the name of love.
Nov. 22-Dec. 21
It doesn’t have to be either/or, Sagittarius. You can have sugar in your bowl and eat three square meals a day (if ya know what I mean). You are setting yourself up to believe that you either do the difficult, necessary thing or you get to be happy, but you’re missing how to make the two reinforce each other. Take small, manageable steps, pal. You’re overwhelmed, but that doesn’t have to ruin what’s good; take it slow and do what you can this week.
Dec. 22-Jan. 19
You need to get right with yourself, Capricorn. Your old pattern would be to needlessly fight or shut down in the face of stresses and now’s the time to change that mess. Take stress management to the next level this week, because you have important stuff to do and it doesn’t need to be so unpleasant, even if it’s hard. The Universe is calling you to step up and be your best self, so don’t let your emotions blind you to the very real good in your life.
Jan. 20-Feb. 18
Seeing as how you can’t turn back time, you’ve got to keep on moving forward from the present moment. You may feel tempted to obsess on how annoying it is to be where you’re at, but there’s nothing to be done about it, Aquarius. Make decisions, and then create a plan that you can follow through on this week. The only thing holding you back is your attachment to the past, so don’t create a narrative to explain your situation; deal with it like the boss you are, instead.
Feb. 19-March 20
You can kick and fight, or you can stand your ground, but you can’t avoid the need to confront what’s not working for you, Pisces. Look out for where the line between defensiveness and strength is; your sign is notoriously passive aggressive, and it can be hard for you to assert yourself, even when you should. Trust that you have the right to have your own back. To quote the illustrious K. Rogers: “you’ve got to know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em; know when to walk away, and know when to run”.
